Actress Olivia Wilde said it was an "amazing honor" to carry on the "legacy" of Tron...but that's about all she's allowed to say!
If you feel like there hasn't been much news about Disney's long-awaited sequel to Tron, next year's Tron: Legacy, then you would be right. According to actress Olivia Wilde, that's because of a studio-imposed gag order on those who work on the film, something CBM fans have, unfortunately, grown accustomed to hearing about.
"There's such a cone of silence around Tron, but it'll be fun to watch. That was also an amazing honor, to be able to carry on a legacy like Tron. I don't think diehard fans will be disappointed. I think they will be very happy with what we did."
As for whether or not Tron: Legacy will be completely driven by the effects, Wilde said:
"There's a real story. It's going to look cool, but that's not all [that the film is about]."
Tron: Legacy opens December 17, 2010!
