Awesome job Brent.

Oldman was thinking "A have a few Viagra in my pocket, I know she'll shag me cause I'm Gary Oldman".
SirPrize - 7/31/2009, 7:24 PM
SirPrize and Ror@ I agree... that old bastard would get her just because he's Gary Freakin Oldman... sheesh... I have to become a famous actor...
Xandera - 7/31/2009, 7:30 PM
Nice Zartan costume!!! Tom Lister (debo, zeus) could whoop everyone's ass in that place!!!
KillerOfSaints - 7/31/2009, 7:37 PM
I think we should all go dressed up as constructicons, and we should piece together to form devastator. that would be sick!!!
KillerOfSaints - 7/31/2009, 7:39 PM
Of course..i mean, he's THE Oldman. He could prob [frick] me if he wanted to.

I have to go next year, there are no 2 ways about it. Living in Ireland is a bit of an obstacle..But ill find a way! I have a buddy in New York so the fat sack will have to put me up.
Rorschach01 - 7/31/2009, 7:39 PM
Ror@... he may not if you keep calling him a fat sack... lmao

Xandera - 7/31/2009, 7:47 PM
Brent I always thought you were a black man.

I can't believe all those a-list elbows you got to rub! Uhm, that sounds wrong. In fact, my whole post sounds wrong. I'm fired!
Betty - 7/31/2009, 7:49 PM
Betty@ LMAO!!!!!!!!!!
Xandera - 7/31/2009, 7:55 PM
Ah he likes it! Hes not really fat, or a sack. He is a ginger hypochondriac though.

I think we should all go though!
Rorschach01 - 7/31/2009, 7:58 PM
Ror@ Freakin eh we should all go... it'd be awesome if everyone on here went
Xandera - 7/31/2009, 8:01 PM

starscream4president - 7/31/2009, 8:29 PM
@ComicBookMovie:Whats up with the new tabs?
Ozymandias - 7/31/2009, 8:34 PM
Hey, thanks everybody! Yes! Do put Comic-Con on your "must do" list, at least once in your life. It's like Halloween, Christmas and New Year's Day all rolled into one!

The big dude is Tommy Lister Jr. and he made me feel very, very small. Cool guy, though.

Olivia Munn? Yeah, that was her, bailing from the interview she was supposed to give me.

And, if you don't know who the old dude in the white is, you better check your cred at the door; it's Stan "The Man" Lee!
Brent Sprecher - 7/31/2009, 8:42 PM
Man, Kevin Sorbo looked lonely. Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis are so hot. I think its time to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall again.
longbowhunter - 7/31/2009, 8:58 PM
"There. I just sold you for a cigarette... and I don't smoke!"
Kyos - 7/31/2009, 9:14 PM

gambitfreak - 7/31/2009, 11:11 PM
Yeah, it was a big highlight for me! Just him and a handful of other guys created the entire Marvel Universe.
Brent Sprecher - 7/31/2009, 11:32 PM
WHERE WOULD COMICS BE WITHOUT STAN LEE?

superhero9 - 7/31/2009, 11:57 PM

The Star Trek original crew look good.
Yeah it must be a "to do" thing at least once in your life.. i hope i can go in the next couple of years..!

We got the chance to meet Stan Lee here in Mexico in the late 90´s, when we had a boom in International-Comic-Conventions. He came in 1997 and i was one of the guys in the supporting crew..got to meet him 2 or 3 times..very class man, very humble, always with the best of the moods, he signed his autographs with no cost (at least in those days).. literally THOUSANDS of people came to the convention.. i don´t think there are many digital pictures of it, the ones i have must be in my parent´s house so i hope some day i can show them to you guys.
Nowadays there are still A LOT of conventions in Mexico City,Guadalajara and many other cities.. but in the late 90´s we had also Todd McFarlane, Dennis O´Neil ( who was INCREDIBLY GENTLE to return a letter i wrote to him to my house!! handwritten "From the desk of Dennis O´Neil, it had a label. along with a Robin-hologram trading card, again, i hope i can get to that kept stuff and maybe write an article here at CBM about the Mexican-Comic Conventions from the late 90´s!!), John Bogdanove(i don´t remember the writing), Dan Jurgens(author of The Death of Superman), Sergio Aragonés(Groo,MAD), and many others .. oh i am so happy i was a volunteer-teenager-comicfan. a little tear is coming out ;...]
SirJediFrank - 8/1/2009, 8:00 AM

You are very lucky Brent. I wish I had met Stan Lee and all those other cool actors and actresses. I will have to go to New York or San Diego some day for one of these...
