Batman is totally outclassed. even if all Magneto could o was manipulate metal, Bats is going in with a belt full of metal tools, all of which are now at Magneto's disposal. Plus, Magneto is not one of those nice guys that will take a beating rather than let their opponent get killed. If he saw Bats as a threat, he'd end him.

	cyked - 5/26/2012, 1:06 AM Login to report abuse Are there cars around? Skyscrapers? Bridges? Bicycles? Plumbing? A satellite? Batman's suit doesn't have to be made of metal. Mags could sandwich him between 2 semi trucks or drop an aircraft carrier on him, reverse the flow of iron in his blood or lift the city block Bats is standing on & heft it into space. Batman can't penetrate Magneto"s shield. I think the only way Bat takes this would be if Magneto got cocky and underestimated him and completely let his guard down.

I think a same scenario could be applied here ... Magneto wouldnt even have to touch or get near Bats ... Just grab whatever object (Plane, Car, Bus, even Building .. basically anything)and crush, impale him = FLAWLESS VICTORY

He would get destroyed by someone like Magneto. Magneto could turn the entire city of Gotham into ruins... and Batman's body would just be another of the thousands found in the rubble.

This is a guy who goes toe-to-toe [and nearly loses but for his wit] against guys like Two-Face, the Riddler, the Joker, and the Penguin. Would any of those guys come close to beating Superman? No? Then why is the Batman always credited with being able to take out Supes if THESE clowns are Batman-worthy opponents.

I love it how Batman's followers always bring the "with prep" business to the table. Guys, he can hardly deal with his rogue gallery with all the "prep" in the world, he could never beat Magneto.
	weaponX2 - 5/26/2012, 10:25 AM Login to report abuse I agree with what pretty much everyone else has been saying, Batman could prep until doomsday and still wouldn't be able to defeat magneto...unless the battle was staged somewhere completely devoid of metal and I'm afraid that it would be pretty hard to find a place like that on this planet...Magneto taps into the magnetic force of the Earth itself and would be able to use something against Batman..Bats is simply outclassed here

He is truly great and all, but Batman is a B-Ranked Threat, at his prime. The Toughest opponent he would a chance, not guarnteed win mind you, is Black Panther, whi actually manages to be better in combat and have more high tech/powerful equipment.

He just finds ways to win and gets the job done. That's why most people see him as a respectable fighter, or that's how I've always seen it.

Magneto would block that easily…… even if there was no metal within 100 miles of the fight Magneto could just pop off his nifty little helmet and beat him to death with it. The only freaking way Batman could win is if he called up Superman and asked him nicely to do it for him

And these guys have super strength, speed, beams, projectiles, etc. Batman only has more votes because DC fans like to ride him more than logic.

How does he beat Daredevil or Blade, when they are as skilled as him, with more to offer on the table. apparently in the comicbook universe, fandom conquers power, skill, and tactics.
