In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

I DONT WANT TO SEE THIS!!! but...it doesn't have that asswipe chuck norris in it...and it has kelsey grammar. And it looks kind of like a heist movie....

Ive already been burned twice by these movies. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK!!

SuperCat - 6/4/2014, 7:36 PM
Mel Gibson is in this. I'll pass.
Ranger14 - 6/4/2014, 7:53 PM
What a waste of time and film. Since when does Grammar qualify as an action film star? I was surprised to see him in the trailer prior to DOFP.
jojofmd - 6/4/2014, 7:57 PM
I was not a fan of the second one but the first was a LOT, A LOT of fun. This shouldn't disappoint. To the "haters" It's an ACTION MOVIE, it's not trying to be anything better or worse. Their fun movies.

The Expendables Movie Series > Every Marvel Film Ever Made

Sylvester Stallone (Judge Dredd)? At least give the man Rambo or Rocky, jeez.
Ranger14 - 6/4/2014, 8:08 PM
Jojofmd@ Trying or not, they are fairly successful at delivering the worst action films as far as I am concerned. I grew up loving the good ol 80's action flicks, but these have been nothing short of an abomination for me.
Comedian03 - 6/4/2014, 8:09 PM
I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Expendables series is one that you really have to appreciate them for what they are. If you want a movie with a strong script, an engaging plot, and interesting and deep characters that you can connect with on emotional level, then these movies aren't for you.

These movies are for the people who once in a while just like to sit back, relax, and enjoy some mindless, badass, and entertaining action. They're basically The Transformers movies of action films.
yingyangpalms - 6/4/2014, 8:11 PM
It's hard enough to buy 20-30 year olds doing these types of movies. But asking us to believe some 68 and 69 year olds can is an insult.

Sly, Arnold, Willis and all the rest are pissing on the action genre with stupid old codger action stuff.
Those guys were cool back in their day. But their day is gone. They need to let it go!

They should retire and enjoy life while they can.

Well said Comedian03.
blackandyellow - 6/4/2014, 8:17 PM
Nomis, you should check them out if you liked 80s action movies. They're good, mindless fun.
Ranger14 - 6/4/2014, 8:26 PM
I have been a fan of mindless, badass and entertaining action films for years, but these are just too over-the-top for me to consider them as entertaining action films. To each their own,
supermarioworldE - 6/4/2014, 8:28 PM
I haven't even seen a trailer for this yet. The f*** is going on?
Inhuman - 6/4/2014, 8:31 PM
I cant wait to see this!!! I was hoping Sly would recruit Carl Weathers, Danny Glover, and Kurt Russell. I especially wanted to see Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in this and act like Riggs and Murtaugh for a few minutes and Glover says "Im getting too old for this shit!" lol. And Carl Weathers steals Arnolds line since they have the Predator connection and says to a bad guy "You are one ugly mother[frick]er".. and obviously Kurt would act like Cash lol
Greengo - 6/4/2014, 8:36 PM
Looks better than all the other ones combined
LehnsienJaw - 6/4/2014, 9:08 PM
first one was a kickass, memorable cinematic viewing, the second one was DICK, EVEN WITH THE BIG NAMES, IT WAS SHAKESPEAREAN DICK

HOPING FOR REDEMPTION.

and Wesley Snipes

Wow, listen to you guys. All sitting on your high horses eating your filet mignon.

These movies are mindless, stupid, and most importantly FUN. With all sorts of jokes and in-references. I'm not sure what you guys want from them. Dubstep? Talking robots?
MightyZeus - 6/5/2014, 12:16 AM
The Expendables aren't that bad. I'm only disappointed with the lack of screen time given to Arnold. These films keep showing less Arnold it feel's like Cyclops in the X-men films.

At list this film has Wesley Snipes, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammar and Harrison Ford.
