Can not wait. Sooo glad Michael is back best LL ever ( even if he is a Dick for waiting till the last show). This is gonna be epic. I know there won't be a full hour but, I'm just hoping for like 5-8 minutes of the suit. That's not too much after 10 years of waiting is it? Just one good scene as Superman.

I will not be watching because I hate what Smallville did to Superman. The only reason I would never want Tom Welling to play in a Superman movie is because I wouldn't want it to be related to Smallville. Same reason goes for me not wanting Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool in a movie. So it's not identified with that abortion of an X-Men series.

This is the only live-action version of Lex Luthor that doesn't suck. Gene Hackman's portrayal was lame and Kevin Spacey was even worse. Scott James Wells who played Lex on the old Superboy TV show from 1988 was a total disgrace to the character.

I am curious to know how Superman and Lex are going to be life-long enemy's while Lex knows who he is. He found out the truth about Clark at the end of Season 7 so wouldn't he just use his influence to ruin the life of Clark Kent and tell the world that he is really Superman??? Doesn't make much sense unless he has some kind of amnesia.

Lex is the only reason I care about superman stuff. For some reason I side with Lex rather than Superman in almost everything. Superman always comes off as a self-righteous prick to me.

Lex is by far the best of Smallville too. His genesis and origins are more interesting than Clarks, a true fall from grace, like what the Star Wars prequels should have been like about Anakin.

Interesting to see how they work him back in - clone, alternate lex, original lex - either way it should be interesting to see him one last time.

I still feel that lex only will be a side character in this finale. Michael only shot four scenes and we know tess is in one of them so I think his only purpose in the finale is to set the luthor feud to rest and to reveal himself to clark as his nemesis.

I think darkseid inhabited lionel will be the main villain in this episode and he is the one Clark will have a fight with. I think that Darkseid inhabited Lionel luthor because lionel does not have a scene with lex and I feel that will be because clark will get rid of him.

I hope that Lex is the side villain and Darkseid is the main entree cause that would be awesome. I want to see darkseid and Superman have an epic fight. I know kelly and souders can give us one. The fight at the end of season 9 was epic with the best uppercut of the century,lol, and then this weeks episode looks like it will have lots of gladiator action so I hope to see some action in the 2 hour finale, they definitely have enough time to do it. As long as they don't eat up too much time with the wedding I figure the first half is wedding stuff and the second half is the kick a-- stuff

@SillySteve181191 - My friend, this is the real thing. We all know that Lex always had some kind of a backup plan if he knew he was screwed. From the recent promo that features Lex, you can clearly see all of his wounds from the collapse of the fortress from season 7, indicating that Lex was properly still mobile in another carrier truck, while the one oliver followed was a distraction. For all we know the light seen at the same time as the explosion was an attempt to heal Lex using some new treatment from Cadmus Labs. Obviously, it didn't work. But because he was working on the clones, he probably had his devoted staff put a "dead" clone in the bombed truck and hid him away from society. The chamber also says, "Lx0" meaning that this is the template. The original.

And I totally agree about the best Lex ever, I admit Rosenbaum is perfect in the role (although he's a douche for not returning sooner) but the writers deserve most of the credit.

If you go back and pay attention to the story- Lex was never actually a bad guy, especially from his perspective. He slowly became bad because Clark kept lying to him and hiding the truth, which is pretty brilliant storytelling.

@SynisterUrge, in the comics lex has worn a black glove before due to over exposure to his green K ring. In smallville he is often shown wearing one in future flashes and alternate realities.
