Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 Release Date Leaks!

Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 popped up as a teaser trailer late last year but now a release date has leaked online. Will Batman and the Joker be back in battle in Arkham Asylum 2 in October?

Warner Bros. Interactive’s German branch listed Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 with an October release date but the information has not been officially confirmed by Warners HQ.

In fact, Warner Bros. has denied the release date and pulled the information. Batman: Arkham Asylum was released less than a year ago. Are you ready for the next instalment?

That is WAY too early to have a new AA game. There needs to be some time for the people working on it to come up with new ideas and storylines, or else it'll just be a rip off the original with lesser quality

joker shouldn't be the main villain in the second game he was already used in the first game they should have him there but not as the main villain probably for a third game. since in the teaser the joker looked all [frick]ed up and he couldn't really do anything to fight but just plan shit.

Id have to agree with you. The Joker is my favorite super villain but they really didnt do him justice at the end of AA. As great as that game was, I dont want to see the Joker done like that

Yeah your right. unless they have been working on this game since before the first came out. it is very possible that it will be a rip off

No way is this going to come out in October of this year. That's far too soon. If they expect to reach the same level of polish and uber-detail that the first AA achieved, they're going to wait until 2011 to release this baby. They just announced the game (with only a teaser trailer) a couple months ago, we haven't heard anything since. I predict a Q1-Q2 2011 release.

what they need to do is make another cool batman game for this year. and work on aa2 for next year at the same time. like call of duty does.

I heard this game was awesome. October does seem REALLY soon.

@Anil: Gotta agree with ya. Take time to make it right. Rushing it out the door makes it look like it'll be a piece of crap that people will only buy because it says "Batman" on the cover. In today's consumer culture, people HATE to feel like they're getting taken advantage of.
