NYCC '11: Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Poster Shows Grimlock

Fans of G1 will get a kick out of this, come check out a new poster for the War for Cybertron sequel.

It was recently reported here by me that the highly-rated War for Cybetron will be getting a sequel in the form of Fall of Cybertron. As seen on the November issue of Game Informer, Grimlock is showcased. For fans of the later things, it doesn't mean much. Oldschool fans know Grimlock as the leader of the Dinobots.



Now that is one awesome redesign.

According to the poster, Fall of Cybertron comes out sometime in fall of next year.

grimlock was made on earth.....and beastwars megatron got rid of his beast mode asap. and yes it does screw up the time line if u think that way lol anyways this game looks freakn great! the first one was very fun. all they need is prowl and the other dinobots!

Well according to my little sister's favorite show, Unicron has a mental connection with Earth, as apparently Earth was formed around him. Yeah...

But going with that idea, considering that War for Cybertron and Prime are supposed to be in the same continuity... it wouldn't be too crazy to figure that the dinobots inspired the dinosaurs.

The first was cool, but got old pretty fast. Essentially, there's only three, maybe four unique characters - the rest are just different models, different names, same moves. I hope they improve on this.

I also want to see a multiplayer mode that functions inside of the story. None of this silly deathmatch that lasts two seconds. Co-op.

Characters I want to see: Knockout (d), Arcee (a), Cliffjumper (a), and Prowl (a).

@tainted87- yea man that sounds pretty funny! prime is OK imo. kinda slow and too much human screen time. and they need way more permanent characters. more variety

and i agree with you 100% about the first one getting old fast, same stuff diff models. hopefully this one is better about that. and yes prowl pleez!!

Alekesam: I remember "Automan", it was made in the same vein as Tron, including a similar character, the little cursor who draws computer constructs in real life.

I loved the automan "Lamborghini", it was thing of beauty.

Although I DO find it interesting that they chose the T-Rex design. In the show, he wasn't even created until the Autobots were on Earth. And in the comics, he existed before Earth, but he was a Cybertronian tank-type-thing

@ all you kids crying about dinosaurs on cybertron and what timeline went where and if beastmode megatron got a dino gene sample or some other completely ridiculous idea, should do a little research. In the original show Wheel Jack built 3 dinobots, Grimlock, Sluge and Slag. Needless to say they all ran a muck as they acted more like dinosaurs. Wheel Jack then built Swopp and Snarl to help the autobots catch the other 3. All 5 dinobots where then sent to Dinobot Island where they could learn to control themselves. Kids these days dont know anything....

It depends what continuity you're looking at. Sure, that's what happened in the show. Grimlock is completely different in the comics though.

TurboTeen, that show was really dumb. Automan was fun and yes, his car was awesome.

yeah, exactly. in the show, the dinobots were not created until Cybertron went tits up and everyone was on Earth.

although Runefyst is also right. if you go by the comics, then Grimlock WAS on cybertron, but he wasn't a dinosaur. He was a big ass Cybertronian truck looking thing.

Either way, this doesn't make sense. But oh well, i'm sure the game will be fun.
