Destroyer14 Awesome review bro! But who won? The Avengers or Godzilla?

No one really 'won' cause the fight was stopped. But for the record, Godzilla was winning.

Sounds great! I'll see if I can find it in the back issues next Wednesday.

BTW, have you been reading IDW's recent effort?
I bought #1 hoping it would impress, but it wasn't so great so I haven't stuck with it.
Has it gotten better?

@headlopper Of course! I've been reviewing every single issue. Well, here's the deal.

Issue 1: Good
Issue 2: Excellent
Issue 3: Alright
Issue 4: Bad
Issue 5: Bad
Issue 6: Good
Issue#7: Very Good
Issue#8: Very Good
Issue#9: Excellent
Issue#10 Excellent
Issue#11 Very good

So it had a rough start, but it gets fun with the new writer. Worth picking up the trades.

@Destroyer14- Sounds good.

BTW, didn't know Godzilla squared up with Thor.

My fantasy battle is Godzilla vs. The Hulk. As much as I've thought about it, there's no clear winner.

Both become stronger as the battle progresses.
Both can take immeasurable amounts of punishment
Both are virtually invincible

The only weakness I can think of is that Godzilla may need electricity to maintain his stamina after a while.

Destroyer14 Yeah, the Avengers pretty much don't have a chance against big G. IDK, Hulk and Thor might do some damage, after all Thor did manage to put a hole in a Celestial's armor. Still depending on the team (not saying it's impossible for the Avengers to win), but big G would most likely win pretty much no matter what.

The image of a shrunken Big G in the Baxter Building still makes me shake my head. And the Godzilla task force created by SHIELD was a doozy as well. Admittedly, some aspects of the Marvel Godzilla run re still in the Marvel Univese-Monster Island and Red Ronin...

Guys learn your history, the avengers fought Godzilla back in the late 70s at the end of the Marvel Godzilla run, along with a giant robot called red Ronin. and as far as I know, there's still here.

I just read this comic for the first time, and now I'm going to fancast it! I really liked the story. It's got animated film potential.
