This is a response to Joshw24's article: "Should ComicBookMovie.com include comic book news?"
Ok for some time I've been meaning to do this...

Here's the thing, I am actually very very very very flattered that my being here on the site as a contributor, has created a HUGE (and I mean huge) controversy (just so I don't use the word fight and/or dilemma).

First of all I want to thank Joshw24: I seriously never thought of any of this as an issue... But thanks for sticking up for my Comic Book contributions.

This site is of course ComicBookMOVIE.com and I get it but don't all these news and rumors and "scoops" start from Comic Books? I mean I've seen fancast on movies that IF they were to ever be made it would be on 2035...

Honestly I love posting Comic Book news, basically because in all the years I've visited this site it seemed like it was the only thing missing...

Since apparently all of my Comic-Related articles are being posted on Reviews for some reason... be sure to check it out from time to time I like to hear other people's thoughts (even when negative)

So anyway basically this is MY opinion on all this yes/no comic book tab thing... and my chance to say THANK YOU to all those users who "love me", or say I'm "the Man" or think I'm "sexy" and all. (FYI jusme6: I'm a guy).

Now here's something as a side note... If anybody wants to help out on DC titles or IMAGE or DARKHORSE go right ahead because I'm strictly Disney/Marve (If I were to add another one it would be DC but no other)

Hey man, keep up the good work! I for one enjoy your comic news. I remember back when people complained about my fan-fics making front page.

You can't let them get you down. You must remember that you do this because you enjoy it. Don't worry about them.

I've been saying for some time we need a tab for CB, but never got any response on it :P. So hope we get one ;).

Keep on truckin! I too would like to see a section for comic book news, especially since there hasn't been a review on the review section since october! lol. But I would like to see a portal for comics. It just makes sense.

From now on I will make sure to comment on every single one of your comic book previews - I always forgot to be honest because I never think to ckeck under "Reviews" as I'm sure that the majority of other CBM users dont!

This site desperately needs a tab for comic book news IMO - the few comic book related articles that I've had put on the main page have had a brilliant response (most of the time 100+ comments in fact) and though it wouldnt be right to have the main page taken over by comic news on a movie site I think that a tab (which there is room for would be an excellent idea!)

Totally agree that comics need more representation on CBM. The comics that comic book movies are based on are just as relevant to the discission of CBM as anything else. you guys are doin a great job with the comic reviews so keep up the good work!

If I could offer a suggestion, I'd like to hear reviews on any new series since I figure most people are familiar with ongoing ones. Reviewers like you guys are the reason I started reading things like Kick-ass, Scott Pilgrim, etc. which all get turned into CBMs

I like to see the comic book news, too, as long as its also part of what is going to be (or has a chance of being) made into a movie.

I think a comic book preview page should be made, instead of it being posted in Reviews, because sometimes, I want to read a review on something not the preview.
