VIDEO GAMES: SAVE THE GAMING INDUSTRY By Supporting The “Why I Game!” Book
Author Gina Johnson, aka CBMer Dogiojoe, needs your help in finishing her first book. Her mission? Prove to the world that video games contain multiple benefits to society; and that the news agencies/politicians need to see that blaming one mans’ actions does not define the entire industry.
“Playing video games saved my life! Now I’m trying to save it in return.”
- Gina Johnson
Gina Johnson is a disabled female gamer, and she is tired of people blaming video games as the main reason for all the mass casualty events. She is stepping up, and she hopes that you will too.
“People think that gamers game just to have fun… and while that is true, there are many more reasons why people game.”
From birth to about age 10, Gina literally grew up in a hospital. Going through multiple procedures, and surgeries made it hard for Gina to have a “normal” childhood. Many times she almost went crazy, but the one thing that helped her from becoming so, is gaming.
Playing video games helped Gina “save her sanity,” but now gaming is being criticized, and she knows somebody has to defend it. Otherwise, down the line, gaming may become illegal if politicians have their way. So she decided to write a book… titled
Why I Game!
'Why I Game!' is exactly how it sounds, it’s a book about why she and others play video games. Most people think that gamers game just to have fun… and while that is true, there are many more reasons why people game.
Some reasons like stress relief, increased hand-eye coordination, plus healthy benefits for both PTSD veterans and seniors over fifty-five.
Here book will not only explain those increased benefits, but she’ll show the statistics right from the source. Not only that, but also included, is a short autobiography explaining her history and experience as a gamer.
