Jon Favreau recently talked to Hero Complex about his upcoming 2011 film Cowboys and Aliens !!!

With movies like Green Lantern starring "Ryan Reynolds", Captain America starring "Chris Evans", Thor starring "Chris Hemsworth", X-Men: First Class starring "James MCavoy" and Cowboys and Aliens starring "Daniel Craig" its gonna be fight to the death for top movie in 2011.



Jon Favreau (Iron Man Films)says “It’s Omaha Beach, it’s going to be a bloodbath,” the filmmaker said of next year’s crush of big special-effects films, remakes and sequels. “There’s never been a summer like this next summer. It’s going to be bloody [for filmmakers and the studios]. As we were sticking thumb tacks in a calendar we realized that this is going to be looked back upon as Omaha Beach.”

Who will reign supreme next summer ????

its either going to be captain america or green lantern, thor will do alright, plus you have to remember other big franchises are coming out aswell during that time so its going to be even harder

@dcaesar i think you will be suprised by first class, because the mainstream audience love x-men movies, so i wont be suprised to see it do well but i hope it dosent

Ibz why would you want a movie to do badly? Frankly, I cannot think of any franchise, whether I was a fan of the comic or not, or whether I like the director or production company or whatever or not..I cannot think of one that I would want to fail. As a comic fan in general, I want to see quality movies made with great actors doing their characters justice!

but once i see trailers for green lantern & captain america.

I hope they are all good, I'm rooting for Marvel though. Hopefully a summer featuring a Hulk sequel isnt to far away but I'm not keen on this whole Bill Bixby thing they keep going on about. Do something new or risk ending up like Superman Returns

It won't be looked upon like that for long. Check out 2012 with Spiderman, Avengers, and Dark Knight Rising. That's going to be amazing.

so is fox just gonna rush out another crappy oh lets just give all these characters the same names and powers as these bad ass comic book characters from this comic that has been around for 50 years only wreck everything . just to keep up with paramount and not get sued by disney.
did anyone else notice the really crappy version of psylocke in last stand. i didnt until i saw the character name in the credits. Fox should just hand it over to disney. stupid dousche bags.
