The Incredible Hulk Director Begging to do a Sequel

Director Louis Letterrier says he would "love to do" Hulk 3 and has been practically begging fans during TV interviews to "make this a franchise"."I'll do another hulk sequel any day of the week.I love the characters,i love the TV show. I love that he's an anti hero."
Edward Norton had a serious falling out with Marvel during Production over his script rewrites, but says"the whole thing was to envision it multiple parts. We left a lot out on purpose. The Incredible Hulk is definitely intended as a chapter one"

Can Norton's relationship with Marvel be repaired in time for him to return as banner? We'll have to wait and see.

So who is the Hulk going to face down next? Letterier let slip that Samuel Sterns, played by Tim Blake Nelson in the movie, is being set-up to become the villain known as... The Leader.

Marvel is keen to have Norton reprise the role in The Avengers, which already has release date of july 2011. Leterrier says he wants to directed that too, but then so does Iron Man's Jon Favreau...

Letterier has said if he was put in charge of the Avengers, he'd pit the Hulk against Iron Man because, "after being chased so many years, he's lost it."

Hulk as a bad guy? Could be interesting.

The Hulk is uncontrollable. He's been an almost villain countless times in the marvel u. Hulk vs Ironman would be gold. Feel bad for Stark though. ouch

I would love Letterier's treatment of the Hulk. It was much better than Gay Cowboy, Lee's. I think he would do well with a series of Hulk films.

Classic Avengers origin. Loki Tricks Hulk into destroying stuff, a bunch of heroes battle Hulk, Avengers are formed.

I'd love to see a Hulk sequel. Possibly with the Leader and Doc Samson as the antagonists. T'would be awesome.
I wouldn't want Hulk as the villain for the entire avengers movie. I think there should a more menacing force than the Hulk for the Avengers to assemble. Ultron or something, ya know? The Loki/ Hulk scenario would work, but I don't know how that would translate to film.

Hulk as a villain NO! He's a hero. An original Avenger and he should stay that way. I would like to see Loki as the main villain manipulating Namor and Atlantis into attacking the surface.

Wolverine should be in the next hulk movie

I would give anything to have another HULK movie. Of course they need to have the Leader plus a few mutant creatures like Ravage then introduce the Juggernaut.
THULK - 6/17/2009, 12:10 PM
oh please i want to see this

I would absolutely loooove to see an Incredible Hulk sequel. Now if we can just get Edward Norton to come back and convince the studios it would be awesome. Because it WOULD be awesome.
And I agree to the "no" to Hulk being a vilain for the Avengers movie. He might fight the Avengers, but as a main villain? I hope not.

cant believe im the only one who noticed the release date for the avengers was wrong.

not 2011 anymore, folks, but nearly a whole year later if not more.

a confirmed sequel would really make my day...

I know the Hulk has fought many Marvel Superheroes (Thing,Iron Man, Wolervine and Spider-Man), but I'm not to pro on having the Hulk as a villian in the Avengers movie, have him fight them in the start of the movie, but have Loki be the real villian in the Avengers movie.

ULTRON!!!!1 I KNOW, I KNOW BOTS R PLAYED BUT HES SUCH A COOL ANDROID

I definitely want to see where Letterier takes the Hulk story. "Incredible Hulk" wasn't perfect, but it was really good. (and under-rated) As long as they don't go crazy with throwing in a half dozon villains and random Marvel cameos (cough, cough, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, cough), I think it will be good.

I love the fugitive on the run take on Banner. I am wary of the role Hulk would play in the "Avengers" movie. I've never been a fan of him as a team player...kinda goes against what Hulk is about. Seeing him as a villain could work as he has played a villain many times in the comic books.

I think Letterier is thinking about the Ultimates if he's planning to make the hulk the villain. I mean it cold work, but not the main bad guy. They should go against Doom. And the FF movie Dr. Doom, but a better Doom.

Hulk versus the Avengers = Box Office PLATINUM.
