I just think anime should stick to their own crap.

Comic books are americana, and it sucks seing them destroy our characters with they're crap style.

i'm sorry wolverine doesnt look like cowboy bebop or trigun or sailor moon or whatever the [frick] the do
kisama
kisama - 7/26/2011, 5:40 PM
anime cartoon is kind of redundant...and manga isn't monotone, that doesn't even make sense you're saying that comics talk in a single-toned manor...if you don't like anime then why are you even on this post. it's like going to pizza hut even though you hate pizza.

This was hardly impressive, but much better than the first clip that was shown long ago. Maybe the series tells stories of a time when Logan was in Japan that comics never went into. The series looks shallow but maybe worth watching of nothing else is on.
kisama
kisama - 7/26/2011, 5:45 PM
@blackvoid: even though a big portion of wolverines story is in japan? comics are everywhere dude not just american and your americana is a rip-off of many other cultures anyway so no room for talk bub

Action

I saw this months ago and I hated it. I can't believe the people behind this cartoon put a beloved character into a non watchable anime. This is the worst marvel animation I have ever seen. The show contained over the top action, nonsensical dialouge, and unnecessary gore. I would rather watch xmen origins:wolverine 3x then watch this cartoon again.
headlopper
headlopper - 7/26/2011, 5:54 PM
If you're watching an anime series usually the story line plays out over a number of episodes, but if it's a good story like 'Claymore' for example it's worth being patient with because the pay-off's usually very intense.
Blackvoid
Blackvoid - 7/26/2011, 5:56 PM
@kisama

If you dont know what i ment by saying that comicbooks were originated and develped in america from the start..

And that comic books are true americana

then sit in your gamer chair watch your gundam japanese shit and shut up

To see these comicbook characters in anime style is just annoying to me
Blackvoid
Blackvoid - 7/26/2011, 5:57 PM

kisama
kisama - 7/26/2011, 6:06 PM
@blackvoid: actually manga developed from feudal japanese paintings and stories so japanese comics originated before yours so go watch your x-men: evolution.
Blackvoid
Blackvoid - 7/26/2011, 6:10 PM
@kisama

Your killing me man, superhero's (wolverine) were created in america...

Stop with this japanese shit...

Its gonna be real great when they do a captain america anime wont it..you would like a captain AMERICA anime wouldnt you..

Shut up
kisama
kisama - 7/26/2011, 6:22 PM
heroes existed long before comics dude, since ancient times. and you seem to forget that marvel has an anime line so they've been making anime for a while now. and i don't really give a crap about captain america, the only thing i've ever bought of captain america was for the movie...get your head out of your ass.

certain characters can work with an anime twist while others cant. it has nothing to do with the nation that gave birth to the character.

Yes it is true that america place superhero comic books into pop culture with action comics #1, the the genre as a whole has been expanded upon by every artist and writer to ever pick up a pen and tell a good story with these characters. Batman works as an anime (great vignettes in the Gotham Knights cartoon) while other characters like Captain America probably wouldn't.

ellispart3 - 7/26/2011, 7:30 PM
to stay on topic..wolverine doesn't work in this anime. tall and lanky doesn't work for the guy (still have issues with jackman).

I bet that once the Wolverine live action movie is released, one will be able to go back and watch this and it will be truer to the orginal Claremont/Miller story.

Looks like every other anime crap tha all looks and sounds the same. Really they need to stick with their own crap and leave ours alone. Just like we should have never messed with Godzilla movies.
