Thanks to USA Today we have gotten our first look at the Teen Titans that will be part of the DC relaunch. The preview that does not offer up much but does give us a look at Kid Flash saving the day and Tim Drake as Red Robin keeping tabs on what Kid Flash is doing. Teen Titans is written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by Brett Booth.

Tim Drakes new costume is kinda crappy IMO. But I'll pick up the first issue, hopefully its some what decent.

I like the new Red Robin outfit, but Superboy looks crap, and is that red riding hood? Oohno it's Wondergirl

I like the classic Superboy look with the t-shirt and jeans. And Red Robin's costume isn't horrible. The only thing I don't like is the feathered wings. Should have kept the cape. And Kid Flash's costume isn't too bad either.

This DCnU redesign are so [frick]ing crappy... Hurts my eyes to look at. Tim's new gear would look at home in the Brazilian Carnaval...

Is it even possible for superboy to have a tatoo. Unbreakable skin and all. It actually looks like some kinde of barcode, instead of a tato. Maybe they should laser a QR code on there while they're at it.

WOW the IRONY.

Flash knew what a back-draft is, yet caused one, ironic cause; DC knows that Superboy's skin is indestructible yet has a tattoo!!

This is the one book I have high hopes for, but so far, it looks pretty lame.

Too many team members already - scale it back to 4. Lose the dead weight.

@8thDynasty, since a tatoo is actually just scarring, or in this case burn marks, his skin should repair in time. So this little emo Superboy would have to mutilate himself everyday by burning the tatoo into his arm. So spot on about that teen angst stuff ;).

@comiccritic87, thats either a pirate bandana or a realy ugly hooding. So she's could also have been inspired by bloody mary or every rapper that ever lived. Eat your heart out brothers Grimm!

And whats that lasso made of? Freaking barbedwire?

Does anyone else remember when Wizard used to do the "Mort of the Month" for really lame costumes or characters? The costumes of this group, especially the ridiculous "literal" Robin and Redneck Superboy, sporting a tattoo and wearing a wifebeater, fresh from the nearest Wal-Mart, would certainly have been great fodder for that column. They even made Kid Flash look cheesy! And what's with that spider-thing on the side? I've seen some lame attempts to reboot the Teen Titans over the years, but this takes the cake.

@Spilox @kriswone since Superboy's still a human/kryptonian hybrid his skin isn't as hard as Superman's.

also, he spent most of his life inside a tube.

also also, he feels sunlight for the first time only after he escapes. So, they could have grafted the tat in his DNA (comics science style), made it when he wasn't as invulnerable and it won't go away cause "comics"...

The real question is why the hell is it called Lex Towers? It just sounds cheap and what caused all these metahuman kids to pop up all of a sudden (please don't be a meta-gene).

To me the arts ok but they don't look like teens...actually how old is Tim Drake supposed to be these days?

Anyone noice that it was a mansion in WESTCHESTER COUNTY that burned down in that preview? Seems a former X-writer bears a grudge...
