You know since its not a reboot I wonder how the movie will explain Cobra Commander and Destro breaking out of jail? I guess maybe since Zartan is the president he is able to release them. But I dont think Destro is in the movie.

And what happens to The Baroness? In the first movie she was in a hospital/jail on a ship. I cant believe that there is no Baroness in a GI JOE movie!!! Jon Chu said that there is no Cobra Commander in the movie (Now we know there is) so maybe The Baroness will be in the movie as well played by someone else. I HOPE!!!

Might have been easier if they just rebooted the movie.

You know I actually likes Sienna Miller as The Baroness, only thing missing was an accent. It would be cool if she did return in the second movie.

So JGL was not the "real" Cobra Commander? Not sure how they swing that one. It seems clear from the trailer that Storm Shadow breaks CC out of his prison, unless it's maybe the other way around? Curious to see but I'm psyched for this movie!

ahhh how ossim cobra commander looks in the movie. Almost a spitting image of the toons, GO JOE! oh yeah and if channing tatum does die, more 1-ups for everyody!

I am going to laugh so hard at Stephen Sommers when this cobra commander is 100 times better than his version. He said that the cobra commander from the comics and cartoon would not translate to the movies and that is why they went the direction they did in RIse of the cobra, and that there version of Cobra commander is true to the character but a great new version ... he was soooo full of shit and this cobra commander is going to be bad ass!

I'd love to see what this movie has to offer mostly because I love the Rock.
The CC looks much better too. Please no whimpering brother stuff this time around.
My only problem is because it's not a reboot (why oh why?), they can't continue with the few things they did get right in the first movie (those are so few and far in between one could have easily missed them).
1. Rachel Nichols- They had the perfect Scarlett. Just imagine Nichols and Palicki in the same movie kicking ass. Golden!
2. Dennis Quaid- There won't be a Hawk in this one. And I think Quaid did a fair job.
3. No Baroness- C'mon! A GI Joe movie without a Baroness? I didn't like either her arc or Sienna's portrayal of her especially in the later part of the first. But you don't just write the franchise's second most awesome character out of a movie(The first has to be Eyes)!

I'm content with everything he said. Destro cameo is okay with me. There's no point of having Baroness without Destro (they're a couple- well in the cartoons lol). Gives more room to other characters like Zartan to really showcase who they are.

I love it! I always liked the idea of Cobra Commander being a title rather than one man. And as a bonus this allows them to get rid of the horrible backstory from ROC (Only part of it I really didn't like). Plus: Destro cameo! I'm sold. I'm just sad it won't be Christopher Eccelston this time.

Maybe Duke will turn into the Commander.. Also, I'm worried that RoadRock was an Arashikage. Have you guys seen the toy packaging? He's sporting an Arashikage tattoo! And holding a sword. Damn.

I'm glad it's not the same character and I'm glad it's not a reboot. A good writer and director can fix pretty much anything.

I don't care if Chu directed the Bieber movie or not. Everything I've seen so far seems to indicate this movie will be good. The only thing I'm worried about is they may oversaturate the movie with ninjas.
