The Dark Knight Rises has been, no surprise, a box office freight train. It just recently passed the 1 billion dollar mark world wide, and it is sure to rack in even more money with its blu-ray/DVD release. While not a lot is known about the special features on the release rumor has it that WB is looking to put something amazing on the discs. According to Nuke The Fridge, Warner Brother is including a directors cut of the film in the blu-ray. The extended footage is said to contain the Bane origin that was mention by costume designer Lindy Hemming. As well as the Bane footage there is rumored to be some additional scenes with Liam Neeson as Ra’s Al Ghu.
As of right now this is just a rumor so make sure you take the information with a grain of salt. With the final cut of the movie coming in at nearly 3 hours long it would interesting to see how long the directors cut would make it. You can catch The Dark Knight Rises in theaters NOW!!!
