Powers is set in a world where superpowers are relatively common but not mundane. It follows the lives of two detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, police officers in a Homicide department devoted to cases that involve "powers", a term to refer to people with superpowers.

Adapted from Brian Michael Bendis' and Michael Avon Oeming's comic book series, Powers stars Jason Patric as Detective Christian Walker alongside Lucy Punch as Deena Pilgrim and Bailee Madison as Calista, and is set to be aired in 2012.

I like Jason Patrick, but could that have cast somebody who had a Little more resemblance to the character in the comic?

I like Jason Patric, even though his tie I think should be just black like the comic. Essentially Christian has a Men In Black look and never changes it. But, Walking Dead took creative licences that I end up liking a lot.

Best part about his casting: Christian Walker was a celebrity heartthrob superhero in the 80's with a wicked mullet, and Jason Patric was a celebrity heartthrob [actor] in the 80's with a wicked mullet.

i know nothing about this series of graphic novels apart from they're very popular.so i'll definetly be giving this show a chance.

even his promotional images are dull.
so bummed about the casting for this. fingers crossed the show is 10000x more interesting than the casting announced.
