After giving Peter Parker back control of his body, Otto Octavius was wiped away for good and the Superior Spider-Man died. However, this August and September will see the release of Superior Spider-Man #32 and #33, as Dan Slott, Christos Gage, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Adam Kubert reveal what exactly happened when he vanished in a flash of temporal energy in Superior Spider-Man #19. During the hours he was gone, it turns out that he was transported to the Year 2099. Though he had no recollections of these events, it effectively placed him in a parallel universe. With the Spider-Verse event coming up, could we see Morlun visit that reality, thereby giving Otto another chance of life in the regular Marvel Universe? It's a hard one to get your head around, but is certainly possible! More details can be found by clicking the link below.

Good. I love SpOck.
Mrsinister - 5/13/2014, 5:34 PM
Everyone hated this idea and now they love it. I was always a fan from the get go. Cool to see
duncboy - 5/13/2014, 5:36 PM
I'm game for this.
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 5:40 PM
I have never been a fan of peter parker or spider man, which is why i loved superior spider man. it finally made spider man interesting, which was why i was sad to see it go. it's return, however, looks epic.
BackwardGalaxy - 5/13/2014, 5:42 PM
So.... magic?
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 5:42 PM
@backwargalaxy, no, temporal displacement.
CaptainObvious - 5/13/2014, 5:44 PM
@Mrsinister- I was against this idea in December 2012 and I'm still against it now.
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 5:45 PM
@captainobvious, why? who doesn't at least MILDLY dislike Peter Parker as a character?
Foxkids - 5/13/2014, 5:46 PM
Looks good
Mrcool210 - 5/13/2014, 5:47 PM
Yes please do that, then do to ock what you did to kaine, put him in an alternate city and keep the series going.

So happy this series is back. IT was a fun ride

HavocPrime - 5/13/2014, 5:48 PM
That's a hell of an explanation on bringing him back.
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 5:49 PM
@mrcoolkid, i concur, i agree that to have A Superior Spidey fight crime in some sort of dystopian future would be epic.
CPIXLEY - 5/13/2014, 5:50 PM
@MrSinister...you are not alone.
AXE - 5/13/2014, 5:58 PM
wait wut?
Space - 5/13/2014, 5:59 PM
I love that suit.
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 5:59 PM
how do i post a gif in the comments?
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:00 PM
rad! that was always a mystery,
he came back talking to himself, like talking to Doc Ock I think.
wow, i'm excited about this.
AsgardianHobo - 5/13/2014, 6:02 PM
Remember how much hate this got when it first came out? Now everybody got off the hate train and actually enjoyed it. (including me)
robsncoppers - 5/13/2014, 6:02 PM
I love the Superior Spider-man, but I really hope he goes back to the regular universe so we can see him interact with all the characters he's left behind (like his love interest).
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 6:03 PM
does anyone now how to post a gif in the comments?
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:05 PM
@IronConstantine - i don't dislike Peter at all, but I loved Superior, and straight from the beginning.

I didn't see it as being any kind of rag on Peter Parker at all. or really being driven by some desire to see more bad things happen to Peter.
or even really asserting that Peter was dead, not with a straight face at least.
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:06 PM
i don't know how, unless it's just like a picture, where you post the embed code.
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 6:07 PM
@dethpillow, i didn't mean that, it's just that i have never liked peter. I feel like Superior Spider Man finally made spider man interesting, while acknowledging that peter existed out of his affect on the comic book industry.
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:11 PM
@AsgardianHobo - i think maybe part of it is that at first people felt that it was redeeming Otto, like trying to forgive him for himself and everything bad he'd done, and maybe it took getting into the series a little more to see that it wasn't doing that at all. and that it wasn't mocking Peter or ragging on him either.

maybe. I'm just saying cuz of some of the complaints more early on into it. I think also a lot of people still didn't like it but just got sick of mentioning it as much maybe. haha.
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:13 PM
@IronConstantine - i see. well, anyways, i'm someone who doesn't dislike Peter even a little. :) seriously, i don't. so there's people out there.
=(^._.^)=
sicknimon - 5/13/2014, 6:15 PM
THE DIE IS CAST!!!!!!
IronConstantine68 - 5/13/2014, 6:15 PM
@dethpillow, i just don't get peter. he has always seemed (at least to me) to be a gigantic cliche, and on top of that, his comics have never actually interested me.
alamborn19 - 5/13/2014, 6:21 PM
ughh can we just clone him a body crap
dethpillow - 5/13/2014, 6:24 PM
@IronConstantine - i can see that, i think i get what you mean. i dig that kind of ultraexaggerated foundation for characters tho. like my favorite 3 heroes are Spider-Man, Captain America and Superman.

i think if you read characters like that on a certain level, i can imagine them feeling limiting or kinda annoying even. but them being that way actually allows me to buy into them for some reason and then I end up being able to read a lot more depth into them becuz of the exaggeration. like there ends up being actually even more darkness to them to me than more morally ambiguous characters out there. it's a weird thing and it's just different things working for different people I think.
Fastestmanalive - 5/13/2014, 6:24 PM
Great news. I loved Superior. Now that Peter is back I lost interest. Now I can pick up a Spidy book again.

Also Giuseppe Camuncoli rocks. Amazing can keep Ramos's crappy "art".
Indy - 5/13/2014, 6:26 PM
this sounds interesting.
marvel72 - 5/13/2014, 6:26 PM
this could actually be good.
ScabbyJ - 5/13/2014, 6:27 PM
I wish Peter would keep this outfit, arms and all, indefinitely
JohnnyWellens - 5/13/2014, 6:31 PM
THIS BRINGS ME SO MUCH HAPPINESS! After Superior ended and Flash introduced Nega-Wally I was hating comics. Thank the gods for this. Hopefully it leads into an ongoing series. ZOMG THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!
patrat18 - 5/13/2014, 6:36 PM
Second best spidey suit.
deanwilkins - 5/13/2014, 6:43 PM
Looking forward to this. I could have done with at least another year of SpOck. The return of Peter was very rushed and sloppy.
StarkAnthony - 5/13/2014, 6:45 PM
so with Miguel in 616 and Spock in 2099 they basically switched places
Ramiel - 5/13/2014, 6:45 PM
I wish Peter kept those spider arms that Doc created.

@mrcool210

Anna is so adorable.
ManCalledSting - 5/13/2014, 6:48 PM
I like this! Spidey Ock was awesome, and this will lead to Otto's return to being Doc Ock.
BIGBMH - 5/13/2014, 6:48 PM
After finishing the series, I can't say I loved following the character. However, that second costume was pretty awesome. Peter needs a permanent update.
