The only way to get people to watch this garbage ass film, is to give it away free.

They should use some of the in house Disney animation studios to do a flick. These new Marvel cartoons aren't kicking it up a notch so to speak...hell even DC's new animated stuff isn't that good. Last good DC flick was Flashpoint. Everything else they have put out has been subpar.

@Josh Wilding Whatever happened to the Flash graphic novel giveaway? I believe it was Volume 4: Reverse Flash.
TheDudeRusty - 8/11/2014, 11:53 AM
I'd rather do the drawing for nothing than for this.

The more I see from other directors, the less I approve of Joss Whedon's handling of certain characters. The Russos did a WAY better job of both Captain America and Black Widow and Alan Taylor did a better job with Thor. Whedon ruined Hawkeye for me, too. Russos made Nick Fury a far more dynamic character that we saw in the Avengers, too. The Russos and James Gunn took Marvel movies to a whole new level and Whedon better knock Avengers 2 out of the park because he has a lot to live up to right now.

@RetroFit: I think you're being too harsh. Reading the comics growing up, my favorite Cap stories were NEVER the ones in the Avengers. When that many characters are sharing screen time (panel time in the comics?) there is no way to do each individual character justice. I think Whedon did a great job capturing the feel of the comics. They're just how I remember them growing up. Would I like another Cap saves the world story? Sure! I loved Cap 2 for that very reason. It's my favorite movie. It may not be the best comic book movie, but it's pretty high on the list. As a Cap fan, it's my favorite movie, overall.

Hopefully they'll do as good a job with A2 as they did with A1. Also, I'm hoping that Cap 3 is equally as awesome. It would be okay with me if he didn't save the entire world, though. I think those stories are overdone. Not every superhero is meant to save all humanity every time they suit up. That's what I don't love about the Batman trilogy. Sometimes, they can just save a city or even a family. Maybe find out what happened to a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent....That's what I don't love about the Batman trilogy. They stories were a little too big and a little too simple at the same time. Sometimes Batman is just tracking down a killer. Those are good stories too.

Anyway, I digress.

*sigh* Ok, I'll give this another shot. I'm gonna win something one of these days, dammit!
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 8/11/2014, 12:36 PM
I hate everything about Whedon. Avengers sucked, Firefly sucked, Buffy sucked. Anything else I missed? Oh yeah, Agents of who?
batz11 - 8/11/2014, 12:50 PM
@SuperCat - Don't count on it :)

Marvel seriously needs to either get better storytellers for their animated films, or just stop. Just because they're doing great in live-action doesn't mean they can half-ass their animated movies.
Marxman12 - 8/11/2014, 1:14 PM
We never hear from the winners.
TheDudeRusty - 8/11/2014, 1:27 PM
This sold better than the last few DC movies btw.
dapussy - 8/11/2014, 5:40 PM

vinomonster - 8/11/2014, 9:11 PM

Theace69 - 8/12/2014, 12:30 AM

THIS MOVIE SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MakluIV - 8/12/2014, 9:32 AM
This movie's badass!
I'm a live action guy so I don't care much for cartoons, but this movie was really cool in that it's shot in a way that gives you a sense of what a future Punisher or Black Widow live action film could be... Really cool. Really badass!
RajunRemyLebeau - 8/12/2014, 1:07 PM
LOL 10 likes. Those are good odds. I would not watch this if it was given to me.
