Magneto is on a mission to put a permanent stop to anyone hunting mutants. What’s he going to do when he discovers that mutants are being hauled away to the Red Skull’s re-education camps? That alone would be enough to invoke the wrath of the Master of Magnetism. Now ask yourself what he’s going to do when he finds out the Red Skull stole the brain of his deceased friend and ally – Charles Xavier? Things are about to get messy. But can he overcome the Red Skull and his terrifying S-Men? Avengers & X-Men: AXIS looms on the horizon, but your first taste comes this September as the ‘March to AXIS’ begins in MAGNETO #9!

Oh shit. Magneto is going to go on a "flashback" killing spree! Somebody tell Kevin Bacon to stay hidden for a few days!!
loki668 - 8/17/2014, 4:07 AM
Red Skull will be pretty arrogant. Up until the moment he realizes WHY Mags wears that helmet.

That's not very ''Magneto'' of him to be sneaky like that. He usually rampages his way in like ''Surprise b!tches!''. It seems out of character.
loki668 - 8/17/2014, 4:17 AM
He's just waiting until the "Surprise Bitches!" has maximum effect.

I'm looking forward to AXIS. Should be interesting!
TelaVizion - 8/17/2014, 4:17 AM
@Thythoutrust you can't do things like that anymore when you're not at full power like you used to. Same thing happening to Wolvie now.

I'm still not caring for Skull being a "major" villain. When he turned all those normal humans against mutants was kinda ok, but kinda sucked that it was him doing it.
Doopie - 8/17/2014, 4:22 AM
there's a 'Surprise Bithches!' moment coming. Gotta be
loki668 - 8/17/2014, 4:25 AM
Now, I'm hoping that he actually yells "SURPRISE BITCHES!!".
Doopie - 8/17/2014, 4:35 AM
It should be his catchphrase
loki668 - 8/17/2014, 4:37 AM
Only if he says it in Yiddish
Doopie - 8/17/2014, 4:44 AM
"Ybʻrrʼaşn byttşʻs"

at least that's what google translate says

I do love this series, but I wish they had gone the opposite route from turning him back into a villain. I always preferred him running Xavier's school like he did in the 80s. The switch was flipped so suddenly that I refused to believe he had committed those first few murders in the story. I mean, he's still wearing Xavier's haircut, and the whole reason for that was to honor his philosophy. They should've started with him chasing the Skull and let that be the incident that pulled him back to the dark side.
At this point, I'm kind of rooting for Skull to steal his power too.

this title has been great so far, currently my favorite marvel comic.

magneto will unleash the marauders(maybe)that he took from sinister lab.

Next: Magneto and the X-men. I know you want it!

Ah wow, I definitely need to get the TPB for this!
It looks amazing! Love the costume as well!

I've been waiting for this since we saw Skull cutting up Xavier's brain way back in Uncanny Avengers #1. I'm looking forward to Axis. It'll be nice to see a Marvel mini-series that involves actual villains and not heroes fighting one another (ok technically Infinity had villains). And no Idon't count Age of Ultron. Everything in Remender's book has been awesome and I've been hearing good things about Magneto as well.
