WWE Invades 2014's Summer Blockbusters With Their Own Unique Take On X-MEN And More

The clever folks over at WWE have inserted a number of WWE Superstar's into this year's summer blockbusters (not including Dave Bautista in Guardians of the Galaxy of course), and what we're left with is Days of Future "Yes!" starring Daniel Bryan and more...

I know a lot of you guys are WWE fans, so I thought you's enjoy seeing WWE's unique take on a number of summer blockbusters. X-Men: Days of Future Past becomes Days of Future "Yes!". Maleficent now puts the spotlight on WWE Management. Guardians of the Galaxy meanwhile becomes Guardians of the WWE Universe, though it still stars Dave Bautista in a leading role! WWE has their own film studio now (one of their next projects is Lockdown starring Dean Ambrose battling a group of corrupt cops), and with a Leprechaun reboot on the way - which was so well-received at Comic-Con it's getting a limited theater run - perhaps we'll see a comic book movie off them at some point! For now though, these will have to do. Which is your favourite?

I'm not familiar with the chick in the GOTG poster, or the one Nick put up, but, holy shit, are they hot.
CookieKid247 - 8/22/2014, 1:15 PM

I understand that I'm a grown ass man that reads comics...

However...

Grown ass men that watch wrestling are sad, sad excuses for human beings.

TheRealRemyLebeau - 8/22/2014, 1:24 PM
Wrestling is garbage. I try getting back in (I was at Money in the Bank) but its trash. Storylines need serious help. Lack of superstars. Wrestlers winning the title like I drink water everyday. Shameful and doesn't have any prestige. WWF, Attitude Era, WCW all day. This new stuff is bad especially when WWE leans on Cena for everything. Bad!!!
ManCalledSting - 8/22/2014, 1:31 PM
AJ Lee is super sexy.
ManCalledSting - 8/22/2014, 1:32 PM
Cipher: No, she's a Diva. TNA have the Knockouts.
Titanace - 8/22/2014, 1:32 PM
WWE is great to drain your brain....
ManCalledSting - 8/22/2014, 1:33 PM
DrLove1023: That's simply not true, it's just most of them.
sKeemAn - 8/22/2014, 1:43 PM
Tried to get back into wrestling. I just can't do it anymore. i liked it better when it was split.
Deschain99 - 8/22/2014, 1:49 PM
Wtf when did golddust comback? " Ewww ahhhhh!"

Ramiel - 8/22/2014, 1:50 PM
Both AJ and Paige are super hot. Damn you, CM Punk!
Enphlieuwince - 8/22/2014, 1:53 PM
Remy, you might have given up too soon. John Cena just got decimated at Summer Slam. I can agree with nearly everything else you said though. It's weak compared to where WWF and WCW came from.

F*ck the Wrestling Haters of this site as you're All Wankers.

@DrLove1023

Yes, you're a grown ass man who reads COMIC BOOKS (Same as myself) anybody who likes something like Comics, Comic Book Movies, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Dr. Who, Transformers, Cartoons or anything else classed or considered as maybes being 'silly' etc, etc is quite frankly a hypocrite when they bash wrestling.

Live & let live people & let people enjoy what the F*ck they want.

As for the Posters, not bad, LOL'd at Khali being on the Guardians parody.

Theres great wrestling and theres terrible wrestling. Theres great comic books and theres terrible comic books. They're so similar when you really look at them. I enjoy both personally. I completely agree with what TMW1987 said.
AutobotNance - 8/22/2014, 2:21 PM
Should've replaced AJ with Paige. She's better than that crazy ass troll doll.

DrLove1023 - 8/22/2014, 2:28 PM
I wonder if TheDudeRusty is smart enough to realize he just insulted himself by trying to be clever and flip my own insult back on to me.
ManCalledSting - 8/22/2014, 2:29 PM
^^i wonder if you're smart enough to see what silly goose you are.
DrLove1023 - 8/22/2014, 2:32 PM
How come wrestling fans are the most butthurt group of nerds there are?

When my buddies give me shit for reading comics I laugh it off, because that's what guys do, bust each others balls.

But tell a wrestling fan that wrestling is awful and they flip out and get defensive.

It's like they're to embarrassed to like something so corny to just respond "I like wrestling because it entertains me"

Man up
ManDeth - 8/22/2014, 2:45 PM
Why do people still watch fake fighting?
samsupes - 8/22/2014, 2:56 PM
Like the fake fighting that's in comic book movies?
HULK2099 - 8/22/2014, 2:57 PM
WOW guardians one is hilarious
TheRealRemyLebeau - 8/22/2014, 2:58 PM
@ Enphlieuwince Man I don't know. My buddies are trying to convince me and that's how I ended up at Money in the Bank for something new and a getaway but lord have mercy John Cena won again. He is one title win away from tying Rick Flair and that to me is garbage juice. I watched Raw this past Monday because nothing was on and gave it another go and lord has Raw fallen off. No effort, wrestlers don't care about their character designs, awful entrance music and etc. I just heard awhile back Vince McMahon lost like $46 million in a day and is still losing money rapidly. If true I can see why. WWE is now trying to push Roman Raimes and he does have a champion look but dude needs more moves and charisma. It's a good thing that the fans boo sorry ass Cena with his terrible ring attire. I thought he was trash when he face came into WWE as a fake Gunit like rapping wrestler. That's when I officially quit watching. It's a kid show now because its super PG. The crowds seem like they are not even into like the pandemonium coming from the crowd of yesteryear. It's dry buddy and needs competition or a overhaul. Also its crazy to me that fans know the outcome before an event even happens. Do they leak scripts? *shrugs*
JoshWilding - 8/22/2014, 3:09 PM
@TheRealRemyLebeau: Pretty much every point you make is incorrect. The only reason Cena won at MITB is because Daniel Bryan was sidelined with a career threatening injury and they needed a big PPV match for SummerSlam...which they got when Brock Lesnar decimated Cena in what was essentially a squash match.

The fact that you say they make no effort when their are phenomenal athletes like Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the main event (who came up through ROH, etc.) is laughable. Also, the WWE only lost money because their new TV deal was 50% more than the last one instead of twice as much. That's still one hell of an increase, but not what they promises shareholders.

I guess you're a fan of the incredibly overrated Attitude Era where wrestlers had to cut their heads open to bleed or beat up women for shock value, and while what we have now is definitely tamer, we also have performers who are 100x more talented than the names that dominated that period (most of whom I'm a major fan of). :)

As for those of you taking digs at WWE fans on this site, I'd have to laugh even if I wasn't one myself. You realise you sound exactly like the people who say you live in your mother's basement because you read comics, right?
JoshWilding - 8/22/2014, 3:10 PM
@Sipprelle: I may be an asshole, but I'm not 100% a dick. ;)
spidey1994 - 8/22/2014, 3:11 PM
Love the Daniel Bryan/X-Men one lol
NickGarof - 8/22/2014, 3:23 PM
I gotta agree with this Dr Love guy......watching wrestling over the age of 14 is silly....one hair hits the nuts it's time to put away childish things.
NickGarof - 8/22/2014, 3:26 PM
And doesn't wrestling suck now anyways?
