Last Fall, Arrow returned for a third season on The CW and was joined by The Flash (a show which would quickly break the network's ratings records). Meanwhile, DC also debuted Constantine, a series which seemingly lasted only thirteen episodes thanks to a lack of promotion and the terrible time slot given to it by NBC. That may not have had much luck, but Batman prequel Gotham certainly has as it will return this Fall for a second season. On the Marvel front, they brought back Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. despite the fall in ratings throughout the first season, while Agent Carter would fill the void left by the series during its midseason break. A few months later, they unleashed their most successful series yet in the form of Daredevil on Netflix. Meanwhile, AMC continued to dominate cable with a fifth season of The Walking Dead. That's quite the list of small screen Marvel/DC/Image adaptations, and we haven't even touched on the likes of iZombie, Powers, etc.

The question is, which of these comic book TV shows was your favourite of the 2014/15 season? Well, here's your chance to let us know. Cast your vote and then share your thoughts below...

I love the fact that Gotham is not even on the pole. That's how memorable it was, lol.

It's almost not fair for Daredevil to be on this list

I'm a huge DC fan and I really loved season 1 of The Flash but my jaw really dropped over Daredevil. It was serious and gritty and violent. It was like what if Marvel made a TV show that was tonally similar to Batman Begins with the violence of The Punisher.

Flash Season 1 and Daredevil Season 1 are to comic book shows what Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and Batman Begins are to comic book films.

Best way to describe them. It's ok to say ones better than the other but to say either are bad is completely foolish.

Personally I love both equally.

@JoshWilding Also, if you include DD, why not Powers?

My fave is Daredevil, Flash may be second.

I actually love AoS and Agent Carter as well, but I don't consider them superhero shows.

They take place in a superhero MCU world/setting and all, but I don't consider them superhero shows at all.

I would not consider a show just about Nick Fury a superhero show either, but that's just me.

How could you not include Ultimate Spider-Man, Teen Titans GO, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, and Avengers Assemble Josh?

Daredevil, I can't possibly comprehend how anyone could say otherwise. Plus, it has this scene…

Hell yeah.

Flash and Daredevil. Neither ones necessarily better than the other. They are two very different shows. That being said I prefer Flash. Daredevil has better production value than all of them but looking back on it, I care way more about the Flash's story and characters.

Yeah see, people making proclamations that Daredevil is the be all end all of cb shows and that it's absurd if anyone says otherwise, is complete bullshit.

The Flash show was cool, but I almost feel like I could have been watching a different show from some of the comments I've seen on here, in other threads. Personally, I feel like the show lost track of itself a lot throughout the season. I feel like the main reason it's cool is because I had such low expectations going in....

I can't wait for the Flash movie though, I hope we get some more DCCU News

I went with Flash but Daredevil was a very close 2nd. The rest are just blah, which sucks because I used to like Arrow.

@DrKinsolving

The problem Flash had was being 23 episodes. That's a long season so filler episodes are inevitable, causing the show to lose focus. I don't get why networks can't order a tight 16 episode season.

@Dingbat

True, yeah, that would make sense, or even shorter 10, maybe 12 quality episodes.

Because with 23 they really got repetitive, imo. There were a lot of times, where I thought I was watching the same episode again, not trying to bash though, I think the show is cool, but it lost track of itself a lot, imo, your right, the longer season is probably why

Daredevil didn't resonate with me. I actually stopped watching Walking Dead in the middle of this season because I got bored with it.

Flash and AOS for me, are at the top of their game!
Spiderfan2226
Spiderfan2226 - 5/24/2015, 8:37 AM
I can't really vote in good faith as I honestly haven't seen any of the other options. I've tried the dc series' a bit but they just seem lame. Aos seems like it's probably ok, I want to see agent carter but I doubt it's on dd's level. I'd probably like walking dead's latest season almost as much as dd, but I haven't seen it yet so idk.

Really other than walking dead I don't see any live action comc book tv series ever being on daredevil's level and I don't see any of these shows changing my mind. Daredevil was a legit top level production all the way around: acting, production, writing, effects. Just awesome.
