2012 will be just a fantastic year for film; hopefully some of these are taken seriously enough and nominated for best film.

If Ghost Rider is going to be the Green Hornet of next year then I will see it because I really enjoyed Green Hornet.

Next year is really gonna be amazing. Can't wait to see all these films coming out. Other than the superhero films, I can't wait to see John Carter, Bourne Legacy, The Hobbit, Lincoln, Snow White & The Huntsman, GI Joe: Retaliation and Prometheus, to name a few.

BTW Josh, Star Trek 2 is scheduled for 2013, not 2012. ;)

The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, and John Carter will be the spotlights of the year to me, but bring them all, I'm so ready.

Everyone knows that 2012 is the year of the Apocalypse. And it's called Ghost Rider 2.

Ceejay - 12/31/2011, 10:54 AM
Why is Ghost Rider even up there? It's not even that anticipated among the geeks and nerds let alone the general public!
Jolt17
Jolt17 - 12/31/2011, 10:56 AM
Left out The Hobbit and Prometheus there, but those four are the ones I anticipate the most indeed. These two surely I still anticipate, just a bit lesser than those four.

Hellbound: Well said, well said. You deserve an applause.

Ceejay - 12/31/2011, 11:08 AM

Happy new year guys & dolls!! Hope you all you have a fun one today and most importantly, stay safe!

On a different note, my most anticipated are:
1. The Avengers
2. TDKR
3. John Carter
4. Underworld
5. TAS ( still iffy)
And other films I can't think of at the moment. 2012 is gonna be a kick ass year for us CB fans!

Happy New Year guys! Just a thought: if any of these films turn out to be a turkey - don't buy the DVD/Bluray until the price crashes - a few months after release. The studios will deliberately over-produce these movies and it will hit them where it hurts: their pockets. AND it will force them to make a harder effort with future Comic Book adaptations!

The Amazing Spider-Man is gonna rock 2012. And yes, this is a bias opinion. But that doesn't take any truth out of it [:

Happy New Year my comic cronies..I'm so excited for all the movies but being a huge Batman fan the Dark Knight Rises tops em all for me. Then, The Avengers and the new Ghost Rider. The only thing that worries me a little is the instant success all the studios are lookin for nowadays. They don't let a movie grow and breathe in theaters anymore, I hope I can see them all on the big screen. If a CBM doesn't make boat loads of money in its first week they always automatically assume its a failure, which is a shame and then its straight too DVD.
