If you're anywhere other than the San Diego Comic-Con right now, prepare to feel extremely envious. Following the Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures Hall H panel later today, Man of Steel star Henry Cavill and director Zack Snyder will be hosting a signing at the Warner Bros. booth on the show floor. Deadline exclusively reveals that they will be at booth #4535 at 5PM (hey, there's always eBay!). The studio has already confirmed that Snyder would appear on the panel alongside The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey director Peter Jackson and Pacific Rim director Guillermo Del Toro, although Cavill's appearance had been pure speculation up until this point. It is thought that the Man of Steel panel will last for 30 minutes, so it seems very likely that they'll be showing off some footage - or at least the teaser trailer - from the film. Be sure to stay tuned to CBM for further details.

STARRING:

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent
Diane Lane as Martha Kent
Michael Shannon as Zod

RELEASE DATE: June 14th, 2013.

I saw IMMORTALS the other night on Netflix Streaming and he was pretty badass. Based on the scenes with his mother in the village in that movie, I think he'll bring a warmth and personality and confidence to Clark and Superman that was missing in SUPERMAN RETURNS.

Like Captain America, it's too easy for heroes of outstanding moral fiber to come across as boring and flat compared to damaged, boozy heroes like Iron Man and Batman. That was a sweeping generalization but you know what I mean, right?

Captain America deftly sidestepped that issue, and I have high hopes for Mr. Cavill. I'm watching the Watchmen Motion Comic right now ($3 at Big Lots!) and Zack Snyder's adaptation was very well done in my opinion.

Wristbands were distributed this morning, and were quickly gone a few minutes later. Fans can pass by to snap a quick picture at the booth, that is if security doesn't rush you off or you don't get ramped by the crowd.

I hope this Movie is good. I HATE SUPERMAN , now hear me out....I know hes like the "first" super hero so pretty much everyone is modeled after him "the iconic superhero" even cmb logo looks like our mild mannered reporter lol but its the fact he is so plain and boring and dull really drag down the appeal of him, why do i want to watch a film if i don't care about the main character. Now on the director I love his work , some of the best looking action and style on film, I loved watchmen having only really flipped through the graphic novel it never really appealed to me in my "younger" days. But the film really had me I loved it pretty much was glued to ever second that was shown on screen. I think its really underrated and deserves better. it was a far closer adaptation than most cbm's or video game films

There's a panel for WB going on in Hall H as we speak, and the MOS is one of the movies being discussed. Rumor is that there will be footage, and the signing is happening directly after.
UrbanKnight - 7/14/2012, 7:40 PM
