BlackFlash - 12/7/2012, 12:04 PM
Got a free digital copy of this issue with my Thor comic looks like i'm gonna need to take a look.
OtakuPapi - 12/7/2012, 12:06 PM
the new Iron man series has on point
nhalden - 12/7/2012, 12:08 PM
since when is a Gatling gun effective against "Hulks". That's always the go to "weapon" just cause it looks cool.
At some point (may be has) Stark needs to incorporate Adamantium blades or something.
OptimusPrimeTime - 12/7/2012, 12:28 PM
Yah @@nhalden - not a Hulkbuster suit. I think that's only supposed to be Tony's note to himself that now that there are more Hulks around, he may need more Hulkbuster suits!
OptimusPrimeTime - 12/7/2012, 12:28 PM
Other than that the art on this run has been really cool to see develop. Looking forward to this issue.

jimoakley666 - 12/7/2012, 12:45 PM
Not keen on Land's Tony.
punkstealingluggage - 12/7/2012, 12:46 PM
@VenomSpawn -- good question lol...sometimes he is *gasp* forced to ACTUALLY draw!!

Oh, and what's with Pepper looking exactly like MJ? I swear I cannot STAND a single thing Land has produced since SOJOURN..
SageMode - 12/7/2012, 12:47 PM
The Black and Gold Non-Hulkbuster Hulkbuster Armor
LAWLZY96 - 12/7/2012, 12:51 PM
This series has been mediocre. And why does Pepper look like that?
BackwardGalaxy - 12/7/2012, 12:54 PM
It may not be a Hulkbuster, but you can see why someone would draw that conclusion.
Battabing - 12/7/2012, 12:54 PM
Bored now.

And Greg Land sucks.
astromerc - 12/7/2012, 12:55 PM
Yeah Pepper looks a lot like Mary Jane. Land sucks!
DioFoRio - 12/7/2012, 1:16 PM
Land sucks imo...Because you have all this lightboxed shit that you can get reference for and then have to create something and it just looks out of place..not to mention the same ole faces and poses used again and again. Hope someone gets this guy a couple of new subscription magazines to switch it up a bit...his art reminds me of watching a hand drawn animated cartoon with shitty CGI backgrounds...jarring. Only in his case the art he traces ,terribly, is the shitty aspect. A LOT of artists trace...but they make it their own.
Jollem - 12/7/2012, 1:23 PM
i saw Flight yesterday. it doesn't really matter to me if they made a mockery out of Demon in a Bottle for the iron man movies

denzel washington and robert zemeckis showed me what the iron man movies could only have hoped to achieve

great internal struggle with multiple characters which is what made the movie great, among other things
Jollem - 12/7/2012, 1:27 PM
@Dionysios - there's this art book i have from years ago put out by wizard, i think. there's a part where land shows you his process. he is a talented fellow, imho
AmazingFantasy - 12/7/2012, 2:21 PM
Lands art is good?

Lol wut.
MutantEquality - 12/7/2012, 2:33 PM
Armor looks cool. MJ instead of Pepper is a fail.
PapaMidnite - 12/7/2012, 3:20 PM
Ugh! This artwork looks dreadful. What's up with the japanese mecha style for IM?
birdfists - 12/7/2012, 3:25 PM
Pepper looks far too much like Mary Jane :s
TheCaptain - 12/7/2012, 4:12 PM
@jollem,
No one [frick]ing cares. I don't want to see Flight with Iron Man instead of Denzel Washington.
Get the [frick] over it.
xstryker - 12/7/2012, 5:41 PM
Whoah, Pepper's got a real bad case of Land-face there. Dude should find a new model to trace.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 12/7/2012, 8:32 PM
"Do they all the look the same to you?" Only when Greg land draws 'em.
AUSSYACE - 12/7/2012, 8:42 PM
This whole Iron Man costume thing is starting to spiral out of control...

I love the original red costume and thats it...

The movies need this in it instead of the crap that they are doing now...

Iron Man has really become a WHO CARES Character now...

ironknight27 - 12/7/2012, 8:42 PM
It's funny every time Josh posts an article about this series someone has to point out that Land photo traces. Personally I could really give a shit if he does or does not. I enjoy his art and this series as well. I can respect anyone's opinion if they do not like his art but really does it make difference if he photo traces or not?
Jollem - 12/8/2012, 12:19 AM
@AsgardianGangsta - no, the turducken is not actually an animal in and of itself. see, what they do is; they take a boneless chicken and stuff it into a duck which then goes into a turkey. i see what you were saying, tho :)
ComicBookGoth - 12/8/2012, 8:44 AM
reminds me of those avengers toys they were selling
