I wish they didnt make all the robins look just like Bruce. And Jason complaining that the bat clan has never done anything for him? Come on.

Wish I had started picking up the new 52 batman series when this began...

@toco89 LOL in Jason's defense, he is the only robin that we've let get beaten to death. I'd be bitter.

I've read all the comics all the way up to this point. Although they are fun, they don't feel very well planned out except for when it crosses over Batman's storyline. I loved the original artist's work but he left to do Superman. This art up top is not what I care for very much, makes Jason Todd seem a little more Tim Drake-ish

The new dc 52 is horrible! Everything looks so emo, and the plots are easy enough for a 4 year old to follow. They will reboot it again in about 3 years

@LEVITIKUZ LOL

@sinsear912. Don't be so quick to judge. Have you read Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman? & sooo many other titles that ARE NOT emo AT ALL. Don't judge a couple books & then go & blame the entire new 52. Let this be a lesson to you, think first, open your trap after.

"It's emo because of the way he looks even though he doesn't act emo, or can jump around shooting guns and swinging blades. But it's still emo because, I, the random guy on the internet says so. Everything is like Twilight."

You have to understand that emo is a term used by nerds/dorks/geeks/dweebs/etc to describe something that may have "emotion" in the story-line. Although some nerds/dorks/geeks/dweebs/etc like having heart and emotion in a storyline, there are those who cannot fathom it because the left side of their brain is telling them it's stupid and pointless while at the same time, the right side of the brain wants to be entertained. Thus, we get bland characters like Master Chief who have no personality, no inner turmoil, and no depth. Not dissing on Halo completely, I have it, just saying. It's just like when Superman: Earth One was released and it teased the image from the cover, everyone said it was "like Twilight" but they ended up being wrong and now everyone loves the books for the most part. Same with the New 52, there are those who say in the most obnoxious voice: "GAY!" "FAIL!" "LAME!" "FAIL!" but really, the start of the New 52 has been a tremendous success and as long as it keeps up what they have been it will not be rebooted. Don't pay attention to these guys, they're full of hot air.

@sidekick

You were more or less ok up to,
"New 52 has been a tremendous success and as long as it keeps up what they have been it will not be rebooted.",

cuz it isn't true, and its both an opinion and wishful thinking.

I'm not going to argue sales, it is my opinion only because everyone I talk to about it loves it, but I can't speak for every reader out there. I do know that DC had been on top until April when the AvX started happening, before then Aquaman was outselling everyone (surprising). But thank you for pointing that out even though it wasn't part of the grand scheme of my comment.

I used to love this book - then they pulled Rocafort to put on Superman (ugh).

I dropped it simply based on the art.
