Layman's run on Detective has been an improvement. Still I'll probably drop it after this arc. Reading too many Batman titles.

Really don't understand why they are releasing an "aftermath" issue before the conclusion has been revealed.

Batman is a terrible detective these days. First he had no idea that the Owl people existed. Now he's completely caught off guard by the Joker team. Granted, I enjoyed the Owls storyline (and Talon is a fun, new book), and I have enjoyed Death of the Family (so far my only qualm is that every tie-in issue ends with the same "twist).. but it does strike me as odd.

This book isn't as good as Snyder's.

The art looks great, but I hate how they've portrayed Batman in the new52. Even though I'm primarily a Marvel fan, it makes me sad that I dont really care about these books :(

phew, that art is painful to get past, sorry

Death Of The Family Has Underwhelmed! Detective comics bores me greatly. The aftermath before the finally book, i hate when books are release out of order, it's just freaking confusing!

Malschla - I'm confused. What twist is the same in all of them? They all lead up to the same finale... So it makes sense. The big twist will be in batman 17

Merrymaker is probably Dr.Merideth.

@Tevil: The whole ____ on a platter thing. After you read it in one issue, it didn't need to be added to the end of EVERY issue last month. Every issue was the same, regardless of the book: Joker gloating that he had won; The Robin/former Robin escaping/getting the upper hand; Then, finding out that the Joker was again one step ahead.

It was so repetitive and boring, and there was nothing really advanced in any of those issues, nor did we learn more about the Joker or the Robin.
