Yes, he looks and acts exactly like the Amazing Spider-Man, but it IS supposed to be the Superior Spider-Man! Regardless, "Peter Parker" explains what exactly Ultron had planned for him in this first look at Age of Ultron #2! "They were going to sell you?"

i thought the first issue was decent,it had some good moments & it was a marvel event that didn't have john romita jr drawing which is a bonus if you ask me.

what happened to the whole "continuity" thing? why is Spider-Man exactly like Parker? even the suit is Parker's, instead of Ock's updated one.

Nice. thank you. I've been using Bit Torrent and ISOhunt for a few years now and thats where I find everything. I've currently DL'ed 25 gigs of comics but theres some that I just can't find.

I haven't read into it, but wasn't Cap taken over by Zola? I think I remember seeing that headline about a month or so ago.

Seriously if that is supposed to be SpOck then someone's messed up. Hopefully they're just telling us it's him so we don't realize that Pete is back before it happens.

i am still confused about the timeline of this given everything thats currently happens in the continuity it goes against it in every single way. The first book shouldve been longer

The comic was made before "Marvel now!" like 2 years before, so there will inconsitancies (costumes, mostly), exept in the tie-ins, but Bendis explained that he made sure he would't do something that would contradict too much with the current continuity.

@AlSimmons That is a horrible thing to say. Let that dead body stay cold. This seems oddly like Age of Apocolips from a decade ago, only non mutant related. The art is amazing. I have a feeling Bendis will do a decent job of putting the story together.

Oh look, Cap's shield is broken. Again. Total Worf effect with that shield - it's supposed to be a huge deal when it breaks, because it's unbreakable, so they break it like every event to show how serious things are. So it isn't even a big deal anymore.

I'm not so sure that's Otto.....he acted way too much like Peter.....is this set before Superior Spider-Man? I feel like it would make more sense that way, but Marvel has no idea what the word continuity means anymore.....

Age of Ultron was foreshadowed back in 2010, and periodically mentioned since. The art, however, was done last year, or even further back. Much like in Jim Cheung's "Childrens' Crusade," where Iron Man's suit wasn't up to date with the continuity of his other titles (which they did apologize for in advance), it is most likely that this was completed before Superior Spiderman was conceptualized. That is why this title is coming out weekly. It was made a while ago.

I think it's pretty obvious that this is supposed to be set before the Marvel Now event. So this is Pete, Cap's in the old suit...

I think someone needs to have a chat with Cap just like Carl had a chat with his dear old dad on walking dead and tell him to just step down. Cap doesnt lead anymore the way he should.
