loving both avenger books,very good reads.

hickman when you are done with the avengers write the x-men.

STARBRAND! He was part of the New Universe! Commissioned by Jim Shooter for the Marvel 25th anniversary Wow some of the 1st comics I ever collected. JRM JR was on that book, Todd Mcfarline was on Spitefire and the trouble shooters. Man those where fun for me. Wonder if he will be part of the new cosmic deal?

Both books are great. Though I love New Avengers more.

@marvel72 I agree as well. I've been saying that since Marvel Now was first announced. Imagine him & Oliver Coipel on an X-Men title...

Issue 9 shows the three powerhouses, Thor, Hyperion, and Hulk fighting him and their attacks doing nothing. I think thats a little overpowered because I remember reading a Thor comic where Thor was fighting Beta Ray Bill and the force of his blow shattering the planet they were on. In the Hyperion origin story a few issues back, he pushed two planets apart. They should be able to easily beat a kid who can only defend a entire planet. Unless its as powerful as it was back in newuniverse.

yeah guys,as much as i like the current run by bendis,i think hickman on the x-men could be the best run since the claremont era.

don't get me wrong i'm a massive x-men fan & its had some fantastic writers especially morrison & whedon but i do believe hickman could do something really special with that title.

@ StupidSexyLockon

i think i like the avengers slightly more than the new avengers as well,could be something to do with team members i.e hulk,thor,hyperion & captain marvel.
