I'm really sad for Foggy . The last issue was truly suprising . I hope he'll stay . Waid is doing an amazing job on this book .

This books gets me so damn emotional its ridiculous. Mark Waid continues proving why he's one of the best writers around, showing that you can take a character in a totally different direction and yet still make it awesome. This already ranks up there with the best Daredevil runs ever written.

This has been fantastic so far, waid has brought daredevil out of the darkness. And while I love all those dark runs on daredevil I.e. miller, bendis and brubaker, it was getting to the point of where daredevil was just going to kill himself, and the tone shift and bringing daredevil into the larger marvel universe is done in a way that isn't contrived or forced, while respecting what has come before and acknowledging it.

If one were so inclined to say maybe download this specific run of Daredevil. What do you suggest he put into the search? Also, if you could recommend a series for a Daredevil noob that would be super!
ImnotDaredevil - 3/17/2013, 5:42 AM
@bellEND have a look at any of Frank Miller's Daredevil ( Born Again & Man without fear pop to mind!) also Brubaker's run. Diggles reborn is good also Kevin Smith's Guardian devil. Can't really go wrong with ol' horn head;)
ImnotDaredevil - 3/17/2013, 5:47 AM
^also I meant to mention Bendis! ;)

Terrible artwork. WTF Marvel? Between this and that FF book it looks like they are hiring righthanded people to draw with their left hands.
Lightsplasher - 3/17/2013, 7:25 AM
@Mctrinket : Stop complaining , Samnee's art is great for this type of book and Mike Allred's art has that old-pop style which makes it looks retro .

fantastic cover artwork, the stuff inside is alright.

wouldn't mind seeing the current hawkeye artist drawing DD or giving someone like todd mcfarlane a shot.

ShadowOfTheWeb - 3/17/2013, 8:49 AM
Miller, Bendis. Brubaker, Waid. DD has had some epic runs over the years. truly epic.

Mark Waid is a bloody good writer. He can do fun action and the most heartfelt and sincere stories you could ever hope to read. This book has been such a good read.

@mctrinket- You must be as blind as Matt Murdock if you think that. Samnee's artwork is truly gorgeous. Even a one-eyed, partial sighted idiot could see that.
jimoakley666 - 3/17/2013, 9:07 AM
@marvel72- REALLY? Urgh. If that pin-eyed scribble-idiot McFarlane went anywhere near this book I'd drop it like a hot scone for fear of getting eye-cancer. He's never developed and is stuck in a limbo world of 1994.
marvel72 - 3/17/2013, 1:58 PM
@ jimoakley666

i don't mind his artwork at all,the amazing spider-man,the incredible hulk, spawn & i believe he did a run on batman which i think are all great.

not sure if he's drawing anything at the moment but i would be interested in knowing what if he is.

How come heroes aren't allowed to ever be happy? Seems like something always comes up to keep the hero sad and depressed.
JacksonVegaIII - 3/18/2013, 7:41 AM
Meh do we really need this kinda thing in comics?
LordHuck - 3/18/2013, 8:12 PM
