Despite how controversial the following video is sure to be, CinemaSins have still decided to put The Dark Knight under the microscope. However, it's not hard to find plenty of faults with what they actually point out and much of it is ridiculously petty. Even so, "Everything Wrong With The Dark Knight In Four Minutes Or Less" still makes for an entertaining watch, although if any if this impacts your enjoyment of Christopher Nolan's incredible Batman movie, then God help you...

In before Nolan defenders.
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 3/20/2013, 3:53 PM
Brilliant movie.
Hellsboy - 3/20/2013, 3:54 PM
saw this months ago, the whole aspect ratio thing killed my eyes after they mentioned it, get ready for wonderbread on the defense
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 3/20/2013, 3:54 PM
They were going to do one for The Star Wars prequels, but apparently YouTube doesn't allow for 100 hour plus videos to be uploaded.
Hellsboy - 3/20/2013, 3:54 PM
i did like the movie though

If you can't find a woman who has orgasms then you aren't doing something right in the bedroom ;-).
jimpinto24 - 3/20/2013, 3:57 PM
TDK was a masterpiece.
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 3/20/2013, 3:58 PM
Lastly every movie has plot hole. EVERY ONE. I know this comment section is going to turn into a flame war, so I'm out. I loved this movie and Begins and Rises. No amount of fanboy bitching is going to change mine and the majority of people's minds.
shadyginzo - 3/20/2013, 3:58 PM
@ToDandy

This video covers The Dark Knight, not Rises. made the same mistake myself.

to everyone else though; name me one film free of either technical or narrative errors.

the question is rhetorical, btw, as I can't imagine anyone giving an answer which someone else couldn't tear to shreds.

This video will never have any affect on me. Best comic book movie of all time.
Warcam - 3/20/2013, 4:00 PM
When I first read this I thought "Nah...they can't possible fit EVERYTHING wrong with TDKR in less than 4 minutes." Then I realized it's about TDK.
NickKaseAKAthePieEATERxGETIT - 3/20/2013, 4:01 PM
Tdk was my least favorite but hey we all got opinions
marvel72 - 3/20/2013, 4:03 PM
very good film,it does have its problems but the dark knight rises is the worse of the trilogy.
Theodora - 3/20/2013, 4:03 PM
Love these videos. I love all the movies they hate on, but its so fun to watch :)
yingyangpalms - 3/20/2013, 4:05 PM
I noticed basically all those plotholes in 2008. But I didnt know at the time it was a sign of the plothole crapfest to come: The Dark Knight Rises.

Some movies like First Blood, Tron Legacy get better with age.
TDKR sucks more with each passing moment. Its right there with the Ghost Rider films. Not even as good as Fantastic Four.
TheOnlyFanOfSentry - 3/20/2013, 4:06 PM
Cinema sins is so sh!t!
Crossbones - 3/20/2013, 4:08 PM
The Dark Knight is a great movie. But, it's a movie based off of a hero. It's not considered (by me anyways) a comicbook movie. That's one of the biggest reasons I feel, The Avengers is the best superhero movie. It's a great movie that embraces its identity. If Iron Man 3 is a great as I hope it's gonna be then, Iron Man will have become the best comicbook trilogy. It's all opinion, leave it at that.
Crossbones - 3/20/2013, 4:09 PM
Jim Gordon dying and being alive again without anyone knowing how he is still a plot hole no one seems to mention.

Yup, you just lost all your credibility right there.
yingyangpalms - 3/20/2013, 4:10 PM
@LEVITIKUZ Matt Damon asked Jonathan Nolan to try to crack the idea for a 4th Bourne. Nolan tried but told Damon he couldnt. He went on to say "they" did the same thing with TDKR as was done with Bourne. They finished his story and got him out alive.
When I read that from Damon I connected the dots. Nolan totally ripped the end of Bourne Ultimatum withy the end of the Dark Knight Rises. Right down to the shot of someone smiling when it was revealed he was alive.
Luminus - 3/20/2013, 4:11 PM
About the amount of cops Harvey shot:

1. The cop in the bar
2. Ramirez (who wasn't shot, but knocked out).
3. The cop at the hospital. No one new the Joker was in Harvey's room, so it's safe for them to assume it was Harvey who shot him and escaped.
4. The driver of the mobster's limo

So, Gordon was partially right. 2 cops shot dead. But there are only 3 people altogether that they can accuse Harvey of killing.
SpideyQuad - 3/20/2013, 4:14 PM
iDo they mention how fat Batman's head looks
MrReese - 3/20/2013, 4:15 PM
No Nolan u have failed me!!!! ;) TDK still kicks most of the CBM arse XD
OrgasmicPotatoe - 3/20/2013, 4:15 PM
I'm a fan of the whole trilogy, but this was still damn funny !
MrReese - 3/20/2013, 4:17 PM
nitpicking but its still funny lol
sKeemAn - 3/20/2013, 4:18 PM
No movie is w/o sin. There will always be plot holes, otherwise it would be real life. I loved TDK anyway.
InfiniteMonkey - 3/20/2013, 4:18 PM
[frick] Batman!
How [frick] up is this world where a man dressed up as a bat gets a movie made just for him?! LOL!
OrgasmicPotatoe - 3/20/2013, 4:18 PM
Tough there is one plot hole I can't understand. Two-Face should have blown up with the hospital. Joker is in there with him, talks a bit, then leaves the hospital and set the bomb off, with Harvey still in his chamber.
HellsHammer - 3/20/2013, 4:19 PM
Love these movies. Don't care what people say. Doesn't make me a nolanite either. I see the problems with these films (just like I do with EVERY film) and I look past them.
yingyangpalms - 3/20/2013, 4:20 PM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 Not quite. (And by the way Im talking about TDKR.)
TDKR was a boring collection of good acting performances that was designed by Nolan to win an Oscar.
I saw the film with a packed theater of people on its debut showing. Not a sound during the borefest until Alfred saw Brucie.
No one went to the film to see if Goldman, Bale and etc., could act. They went to see a badass entertaining film. Instead they got an 2 hr 45 min Oscar audition. Even if the film was plothole free it would still be a boring crapsterpiece.
As Ive said its like Nolan made a Batfilm for the BBCTV and all the old English people (Nolan??)who watch that channel.
Old, depressed, beaten, broken, geriatric Batman.

Fox shouldve just made him a walker and a wheelchair.
TheOzmaofOz - 3/20/2013, 4:24 PM
Isn't this some old ass shit?
Nemeres - 3/20/2013, 4:25 PM
Perfect? No.

Easily the best comic book movie and superhero movie of all time?

Luminus - 3/20/2013, 4:26 PM
@LEVITIKUZ: No, that would be 4. Ramirez didn't die, remember? I forgot to mention Maroni, since we don't know if he died. Harvey survived, so why not him?
SpideyQuad - 3/20/2013, 4:28 PM
I just love how emotionally committed all these Nolanites were that they tried to rationalize howTDKR wasn't a train wreck of a movie and the worst of the 3.

If you want a subjective point of view just ask someone who isn't a comic book fan what they thought.

Oh and Hellshammer, you are one of those and a troll. But then again that's like calling a daisy of flower.
polarkyle - 3/20/2013, 4:31 PM
i love this film and i still say it's overrated
CCR - 3/20/2013, 4:35 PM
@OrgasmicPotatoe

Joker obviously let Dent free, they just didn't show it. That's one of the parts they shouldn't HAVE to show, you're supposed to assume some things and use your imagination when watching movies instead of scratching your head and whining on the internet.

@yingyangpalms

Sorry you thought it was "boring" but most people didn't think that way at all. But you know what's REALLY boring? Reading the same hater crap on every TDK trilogy article. Just because YOU losers didn't understand what the trilogy is about doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to any batfan with a brain. Maybe try doing something you actually LIKE instead of clicking on something you don't like, eh? Just a suggestion.
TheOneAboveAll - 3/20/2013, 4:37 PM
AHAHAHA the ending omg the ENDING WAS PRICELESS! "Why doesn't Spawn call him Bozo like in the comics, isn't that his secret identity?"
MisterNiceGuy - 3/20/2013, 4:38 PM
TDK is definately the best cbm but its def not the best adaptation of its character on screen... if that makes sense.
Azazel212 - 3/20/2013, 4:41 PM
I liked it better when Plinkett did this
MisterNiceGuy - 3/20/2013, 4:42 PM
I agree with most of yingyangs points about tdkr. Acting was top notch but it was just a boring film. And some of the writing was just cheap and convenient like a marvel film. (Btw I live marvel films too)
CCR - 3/20/2013, 4:43 PM
@ToDandy

Um, you said in your first post you were talking about the third film. lmao
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 3/20/2013, 4:47 PM
Luminus
Actually,
2 cops
Wartz (cop in the bar) and the cop in the hospital

The other three
Maroni (who died in the crash)
Maroni's driver
and marnoni's henchman who, if you look closely, you see get grabbed by two-face before everyone steps in the car.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 3/20/2013, 4:50 PM

I know this is pissing off Batman fans.
MarkOfTheDemon - 3/20/2013, 5:00 PM
Why does this site always have to post old stuff on bashing Batman? I hardly see any articles bashing any of Marvels heroes. Is this site run by Marvel trolls?
AverageJoe - 3/20/2013, 5:04 PM
TDK was on TV the other night and I watched a portion of it. There were even more things that were not mentioned in this video...like how did the police police officers get all tied up? And then the timer going off and then a sharpshooter shooting at the window at that moment, etc...did is miss something in the movie that got them to that point? Did the cops just give up? "Okay, here's my uniform." I hope it fits. It would have taken a tremendous amount of planning just to get to that point. I know Joker had help and all, but i don't know man, the movie is so "based on reality", but how everything that happens is so "unbelievable."

And what about the dinner party? There were a hundred people there and about 5 or 8 guys with guns and Batman fighting 3 or 4 plus the Joker...don't you think some of the men would have mustered the courage to help? I mean really, they were all just going to stand around and watch Batman get his ass kicked. I don't think so. It made for a cool chaotic fight scene, but it was just unrealistic to think no one would have helped. That's why I have trouble watching that movie and you guys all gush over it. How? Because you turn a blind eye to it? If say something bad about the movie, you prove yourself wrong, so you don't.

I know, I'm a troll for not agreeing that TDK and everything Batman/Nolan related isn't the most awesome thing ever, but if you are going to claim it's the best CBM ever, you had better be able to back it up. Sorry, but I just don't think it's possible. It was good, but not great. And that guy just gave 4+ minutes of reasons why it wasn't.
Funsize - 3/20/2013, 5:08 PM
DarkKnight is a masterpiece!!
CavEl - 3/20/2013, 5:24 PM
Only one Marvel movie ranks in the same league as either Batman Begins or TDK and that's the Avengers....

BB and TDK > Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, TIH, ESPECIALLY Captain America...

Hell, if you take out Iron Man, all those movies combined do add up to either BB or TDK individually.
