I doubt that they'll end it this early on...didn't Slott or some head guy at Marvel say he'd possess Peter for at least a year? Though I must say, I hope he keeps his costume similar when he takes his body back...get rid of the claws and stupid toes but keep the darker colours and HUD lenses.

It's just Spider-Man, guys. You don't need all The Avengers to take him down. However, as long as Spider-Ock is getting the shit kicked out of him, it's for the greater good.

Did anyone read last year's ends of the earth storyline? You actually do need the Avengers to take out Doc Ock, because he took them out of commission then, and that was when he was frail and dying. Not only does he have his genius, he has all of Peter Parker's spider powers and gadgets. He's a master planner, and I'm assuming he had planned for something like this at some point.

Am I the only one it's wrong of the avengers to kick spock off the avengers? I'm not a fan of spock but they're gonna kick him off cause his of ruthless attitude yet, they keep wolverine who kills people, and they accepted back wonderman who tried to kill the avengers.

one of best Spider-man art, Ramos is amazing. i love it! also Superior is not bad, the story is really smart.

Superior is also one of my FAVOURITE current comic runs. It's very interesting and fun, and unique. I'm a big Spider-Man fan, 'Blue' is one of my favourite novels, but this is so different and refreshing I'm really enjoying. Parker WILL be back, so just enjoy this whilst it lasts and give it a chance, which I doubt many have done.

Looks like the Avengers never heard of friendly fire. When I see panels like that I think what happened to all of the Avengers training and individual skills.

@marvel72 -- on various occasions Spider-Man has taken down the entire Fantastic Four, entire teams of X-Men (including Wolverine, who he once disposed of with a simple, lazy back-handed swat), the Sinister Six, the Wrecking Crew and many others. Yeah. It would take an entire team of Avengers to take him down.

As for the topic at hand, I can't stand this dude's artwork. This is a comic book, not a Gorillaz video. Really makes me long for the days of Ron Frenz, Paul Neary, John Byrne, Walt Simonson...

I read the first 5 issues of Superior Spider-man after seeing some praise for the series among the posters on this site. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty fun comic.

For those who haven't read it, don't bash it without at least reading the first 3 or 4 issue. If you still hate it, then fine, but don't hate on it without checking it out.

Also, the artwork is ugly. In one panel, Peter doesn't even have a mouth! Granted, most good artist nowadays are at DC. Just sayin'.

yeah you're correct,i've spider-man take on colossus/juggernaut combo during last years avengers vs x-men event "AvX Vs issue 2" spidey throws everything at him & colossus/juggernaut just brushes it off.

so thor GOD of thunder could defeat spider-man on his own,no need for the whole avengers team.

that was my point.

To be honest if Thor wasn't there, Spider-Man could kick the shit out of everyone there... Otto is smart, but he isn't physical like Peter was... When Parker returns to all his new toys He indeed will be Superior
