SigmaCenturion - 4/25/2013, 2:07 PM
Why does Iceman look like a marshmallow alien?
ATrueHero1987 - 4/25/2013, 2:09 PM
I actually called this awhile back. I knew he was going to join present Cyclops team.
bluedude - 4/25/2013, 2:13 PM

He should be shiny lil glossy like ice
HannibalKing - 4/25/2013, 2:19 PM
IceMan looks exactly like he did in the 60's. Read a book older than a week people.
sephiroth211 - 4/25/2013, 2:23 PM
I knew it was gonna be Angel after he bitched out in the last issue.
PsyGuy - 4/25/2013, 2:26 PM
I KNEW IT! he's been trying to get away since the beginning.
Manhunter - 4/25/2013, 2:32 PM
Why would they roll it out like that. I read Uncanny X-men and he was just standing in the background. This issue should have come out first.
marvel72 - 4/25/2013, 2:34 PM
@ MARVELPSYCHO79

In X-Force, Warrens Archangel side won out and they were forced to kill him. This kill reset his body and wiped his mind. Hell it made it more powerful(so he has metal wings but they are organic metal) and he can make energy swords.

So young Angel met someone who was him in mind only. He doesn't know the exact details but he knows the man he talked to is not really him.
RPD - 4/25/2013, 2:42 PM
Make Angel and the others the new New Mutants...
dellamorte1872 - 4/25/2013, 2:43 PM
its a red herring he will die and jean will join thats why they brought them back. bendis wants jean back!
SigmaCenturion - 4/25/2013, 2:50 PM
@ indigobolt956

Yeah I know it looks off to me.

@ HannibalKing

He never looked like marshmallows in the original run he actually looked like a pile of snow. This art style does not portray the detailing that much. He looks more spongy to me. At first glance he looks more like Morph than any incarnation of Iceman that I am aware of.
BigDamnHero - 4/25/2013, 3:19 PM
@PeterDarker You're obviously not reading the right comics then. Check out Hawkeye, Young Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Daredevil and Indestructible Hulk. All of them are excellent. And Guardians of the Galaxy is shaping up to be really good as well.
space - 4/25/2013, 3:36 PM
Past Iceman looks like Twelve from Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike.

dellamorte1872 - 4/25/2013, 4:12 PM
That iceman is laughingly bad!
DanteSparda - 4/25/2013, 4:16 PM
@SigmaCenturion

Because his powers aren't as developed as they're in the present, let's just say that he's more snow than ice right now.
DanteSparda - 4/25/2013, 4:23 PM
Also Kick Ass cover, I'm so loving Cyclops new costume more than any other of his costumes.
venom2019 - 4/25/2013, 4:23 PM
They all ready gave it away it was angel in the Uncanny x-men comic lol
SigmaCenturion - 4/25/2013, 4:41 PM
@DanteSparda

I know why he is like that in the comics it is just the art style doesn't really convey the information well. I remember in the original run he looked like a walking snowman which was laughable but at least I could tell that is what they were going for. In this he doesn't look like snow or ice.
Pauul - 4/25/2013, 6:15 PM
Angel is alive in the present day, but Warren Worthington III is dead.

To kill /Archangel who became the new Apocalypse, X-Force had to stab Warren with a Celestial Life Seed which killed him but created a new version of Angel with none of the originals memories.
OtakuPapi - 4/25/2013, 10:08 PM
Jean Grey is mind controlling Angel to infiltrate and keep a eye on Cyclops. This young Jean is kind of ruthless
dellamorte1872 - 4/26/2013, 5:21 AM
i think its kinda humorous that MARVEL thinks this will blow my mind with this twist. i guarantee the obvious; the only original to stay will be JEAN!
dellamorte1872 - 4/26/2013, 5:25 AM
SURPRISED THEY DIDNT TRY THIS TIME TRAVEL ANGLE BEFORE HONESTLY WHEN JEAN CAME BACK THE 1ST TIME AFTER DARK PHEONIX. BETTER THAN HER KEPT IN A COCOON UNDERWATER OR WHATEVER THAT SHIT WAS SILLY
dellamorte1872 - 4/26/2013, 5:27 AM
they can actually argue this BELIEVABLY
Ancar - 4/26/2013, 6:59 AM
This is a very good comic book! Thanks Brian and Stuart!!!
MutantEquality - 4/26/2013, 10:31 AM
