JURASSIC PARK 4 Production Problems Exaggerated?; Colin Trevorrow Still Attached To Direct
Despite a couple of Tweets sent out by members of the Jurassic Park 4 production team claiming that the film is "on hold" and seemingly trapped in development hell, a new report now claims otherwise, although whether it will be able to make its 2014 release date remains unknown. Read on for details!
When Tweets were sent out by a couple of members of the Jurassic Park 4 production team saying "JP4 on hold" and Hollywood makes and crushes dreams. Goodbye JP4" (both of which have since been deleted), many assumed that this meant that the production had run into trouble and that Universal may have even decided to scrap the film altogether. However, JurassicPark4-Movie.com have countered this by claiming that the film is simply taking a hiatus because, the studio doesn't necessarily see eye-to-eye with some of those involved in the film's development and this has lead to some conflict." Colin Trevorrow is still attached to direct and any rumours about there being problems with the screenplay are said to be completely false. However, Universal are reportedly aiming to make this fourth instalment as epic as possible and it is this which has led to, "disagreements between those working on the project and the Studio, which has resulted in an overhaul within the film's production crew." While the fact that the movie is on hiatus (which let's face it, really isn't all that different to being "on hold") certainly isn't a good thing, it should come as a relief to learn that it's far from scrapped. However, it's now looking more and more unlikely that the film will be able to make its June 2014 release date.
