Geoff Johns Talks BOOSTER GOLD, GREEN LANTERN, WONDER WOMAN And More
DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns refuses to comment on the rumoured Justice League movie, but does share his thoughts on how Arrow has opened up the possibility of more small screen adaptations and hints at plans for characters like Green Lantern and Wonder Woman on the big screen!
In an interview with Collider (which can be viewed in full below), DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns refused to give too much away about what Warner Bros. has planned for their upcoming comic book adaptations, but did drop some very intriguing hints as to what they may have up their collective sleeve. When asked about Justice League, he would only say, "Can't really talk about it, sorry," before adding that "There are plans" for Green Lantern after the 2011 movie. As for whether Wonder Woman is still a priority - on either the small or big screen - Johns said "Absolutely" before quickly saying "Let’s move on..." when the site asked what he thought about fan favourite Gina Carano taking on the role. During the course of the interview, the comic book writer also went on to reveal that the success of Arrow has, "helped open up doors for DC and television in a very good way" and confirmed that the Booster Gold TV series is "still in development, Andrew Kreisberg is working on it right now." Ultimately, he basically told them that we'll have to wait until July's San Diego Comic Con before anything definite is announced, but it certainly sounds as if DC and Warner Bros. are working on SOMETHING big...
