Also... AWESOME! Excited to read this. Unfortunately, I will be cancelling this title after this issue.

Those covers are pretty sweet!
TelaVizion - 5/25/2013, 4:38 AM
I wish this book came out more often

Great art... but I always said a fight between these two would be easily one sided. Hulk would destroy Wolverine.

The Hulk would hit him so hard Logan's brain would slush up against the side of his rapidly accelerating adamantium skull... or Hulk would just rip him into a pile of limbs and a torso... or just punch him into orbit.

And Logan just does not have the strength needed to hurt the Hulk. Yeah I know... claws... adamantium... sharp... still, like a child with a sharp knife, he just doesn't have the strength to push it through a metal wall. He couldn't give Hulk more than the equivalent of a cat scratch.

Some characters, no matter how popular and over written, just can't beat others.

Hulk would destroy him every time.
kevberg - 5/25/2013, 5:02 AM
um how does a gorilla even pierce the hulks skin?
kevberg - 5/25/2013, 5:07 AM
but the Cho art is awesome as always!
SunfireUrA55 - 5/25/2013, 5:10 AM
As always Awesome art Frank. Now give us some cool Asian male superheroes Frank. We need them badly.
DoubleD - 5/25/2013, 5:23 AM
What did Marvel do hire Ang Lee ? WHAT IS UP WITH THE GIANT HULK ? Hulk Kong looks good but he is way to tall. First Hulk movie they FUBAR the Hulk. The Incredible Hulk was better but he was still to tall.

Biggest complaint in the Avengers is the Hulk could not talk once again. Except for one line. The next Hulk outting make it where Hulk can talk.
TheAcidSkull - 5/25/2013, 6:38 AM
@DoubleD don't forget that Wolverine is shorter than normal people, thats why hulk looked so big. Besides, i prefer HULK when he is at least 10 feet tall, or 11.
and while this is awesome, Cho is very inconsistency with powers.
WruceBayne - 5/25/2013, 7:00 AM
I completely agree with you. If Wolverine has trouble with five ninja's or a hand full of A.I.M soldiers, Hulk would destroy him. The same goes with Hulk vs. Captain America. Hulk wins hands down every time.
Same thing with Batman vs. Superman. Superman beats him every time. I don't care if Bats had a Kryptonite charm bracelet and c*ck ring he still loses 5 seconds into the fight.
avengersleagueofjusticeforamerica - 5/25/2013, 7:11 AM
This is a great book. Frank cho can draw a chick.
Magnus66 - 5/25/2013, 7:26 AM
@WruceBayne... Exactly.
mctrinket - 5/25/2013, 8:05 AM
Meh. Wolverine has fought bigger.
wepzm77 - 5/25/2013, 8:21 AM
Yep I have to get this!

Maybe you guys are too young to remember wolverine an. Hulk have fought dozens of times. Wolverines healing factor allows him to heal fast. He's quick and has adamantium bones. It's not going to shatter like normal bones when hulk hits it. It's a fun fight cause wolverine can take a hit, he's savage while hulk is angry, wolverine is short and cereal while hulk is huge and brutish.

ScionStorm - 5/25/2013, 9:33 AM
Hulk's got a hickie! lol I like this book. Well drawn and fun to read.
AshleyWilliams - 5/25/2013, 9:44 AM
I need to read this.
SpiderBat209 - 5/25/2013, 10:03 AM
Hulk got a Monkey bite. Eewww.
bluedude - 5/25/2013, 5:00 PM
WruceBayne you typed backwards dude batman ALWAYS wins doesnt matter who it is that his super power

Also magnus you are also wrong wolverine could kill hulk hed just slit his throat
marvel72 - 5/25/2013, 5:43 PM
how can a gorilla piece the hulk skin? i've seen countless bombs dropped on the hulk with no blood whatsoever.
Magnus66 - 5/25/2013, 6:26 PM
Indigobolt956... Seriously? Slit his throat?

Think of it this way, if you or I had a sharp knife we could slice it through a piece of leather easily... but could a two year old kid do the same? No. A child just doesn't have the strength to push the blade through the leather no matter how sharp the blade might be.

Wolverine just does NOT have the strength needed to cut through Hulk's skin... and besides, all Hulk would have to do it hold Logan's arms outstretched and Logan would be helpless. Hulk wouldn't even have to hit him. If he did though, the force of the strike would smash Logan's flesh away from his adamantium bones and cause MAJOR damage. A strike to the head would cause incredible and immediate brain damage. Would he heal from it eventually? Maybe... but the damage would be done with that one single blow.

There really is no way around it. If writers actually wrote to the power levels and abilities of the characters instead of the "win in every situation fan boy fantasies", characters like Wolverine wouldn't stand a chance against anyone with true super strength on the Hulk's level.
TheAcidSkull - 5/25/2013, 8:51 PM
@indigobolt956 Please tell me you're joking? slit his throat? yeah sure, i mean it's not like hulks healing factor is stronger than wolverines or anything like that, i'm sure a guy like hulk, who could walk through a nuke would die by getting his throat slit -_________________-
loki668 - 5/25/2013, 11:39 PM
Actually, Wolverine has low level superhuman strength which, combined with the adamantium, makes his claws sufficiently able to pierce the Hulk's skin. With proper momentum he could cut off the Hulk's head. It also matters which iteration of the Hulk that Wolverine is facing. The Savage Hulk is stronger but his one-dimensional technique provides Wolverine with advantages, tactically. The Grey Hulk is smarter but weaker, making the fight more interesting. World-Breaker Hulk has proven that he can kick the ever-loving shit out of Wolverine.
jimoakley666 - 5/26/2013, 12:52 AM
Hulk's got Star Trek side burns. Love that second cover. Is that by Dave Johnson?
Magnus66 - 5/26/2013, 5:05 AM
@loki668... LOL. "Low level superhuman strength"? Against the Hulk? That's totally laughable.

Like WruceBayne said above... but he has a hard time with a group of ninjas?

Writers can do anything they want. They can make Spider-Man let lose with telekinetic powers, have Reed Richards fire eye blasts, and have the Beast turn into a big blue cat... that doesn't mean it makes sense though.

Wolvering does nothing more than pizz the Hulk off... then he pays the price for it.
TheAcidSkull - 5/26/2013, 5:27 AM
@loki668 good observation. But i doubt Logan could actually decapitated the hulk, the muscle mixed with the hard bone will make it VERY hard for him and i'd say impossible. Against savage hulk, wolverine will loose very time, no contest, just stalling. But the grey hulk? now that will make it an awesome battle, i loved their fight back in davids run.
riseofloganX36 - 5/26/2013, 9:11 AM
why does wolverine have werseling boots on. Dosen't go right with the costume.

NUFF said BUB!
osideous - 5/26/2013, 1:00 PM
@WruceBayne @magnus66 the hulk you are talking about was in the ultimate universe. hulk can't rip adamantium in the 616 universe, that was bullshit they did for ultimate universe. wolverine has gone toe to toe with hulk numerous times.
osideous - 5/26/2013, 1:00 PM
and also both hulk and wolverine are Avengers now, they wouldn't fight each other like before unless provoked to
Magnus66 - 5/26/2013, 5:29 PM
@osideous... Wolverines bones are adamantium. They are still connected at their joints by sinew and tissue. Hulk would rend him into a pile of limbs.

If you read what I said before, writers can make any hero beat any other hero if they want it for the story. That doesn't mean it makes sense... and Wolverine standing a chance against a character as powerful as the Hulk just does NOT make sense... written that way or not.

And as far as Wolverine going "toe to toe" with the Hulk and knowing the difference between the ultimate Hulk and the 616 Hulk... thanks, but I've been reading the Hulk/Wolverine battles since "The Incredible Hulk #181", and still, Hulk would destroy him.
loki668 - 5/26/2013, 10:15 PM

I said that the low-level superhuman strength would allow him to pierce the Hulk's skin, NOT allow him to win. That's what happens when you laugh to hard, you miss what was said over the ruckus. And, for the record, ANYONE would have a hard time over a group of foes rather than focusing on one target. If you've ever been in a fight you'll understand why that is the case.
loki668 - 5/26/2013, 10:15 PM
Magnus66 - 5/27/2013, 3:12 PM
So... cutting his head off wouldn't be counted as a win then? I think I read what you wrote just fine... and yes, I'm still laughing at it. lol
loki668 - 5/28/2013, 5:07 AM
I said "with proper momentum" he COULD cut off his head. Is this how you debate? Picking one part and sticking to it while disregarding the rest? You read but didn't understand. Also, I'll repeat another argument as you clearly ignored it. Anyone who's ever been in a real fight knows, it's easier to take on a single, stronger opponent rather than many weaker ones (as you're attention is divided, allowing the "weak" group to attack from all angles). That tosses the "pack of ninjas" argument. The rest is left to imagination and debate. But I'll leave you to your laughter as you seem to be easily amused.
