Whether or not The Flash will be brought to life on the big screen somewhere down the line by Grant Gustin or another actor remains to be seen, but what we do know is that the 90210 star will be playing Barry Allen in three episodes of the CW's Arrow before speeding off into his own series as The Flash. While the team behind the planned spin-off have promised that we WILL see THE costume, it promises a slightly different take on the character, as we'll be seeing a younger and less experienced Barry who perhaps grows into the character we all know so well from the comics. BARRY ALLEN is a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. A comic book fan boy, Barry is obsessed with the Arrow unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime has brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante.
