IRON MAN 3 Predictably Debuts At #1 On Home Video Sales Charts
Why "predictably"? Well, despite fanboy complaints about the depiction of 'The Mandarin', the Shane Black helmed Iron Man 3 is still the #1 movie of 2013 and the highest grossing Iron Man movie of all-time. Hit the jump for further details!
Iron Man 3 - which is the first film in that franchise to be distributed on home video by Walt Disney Studios - has gone straight to #1 on the national sales charts after its first week of release in stores, taking the top spot from World War Z. With a total of over $409 million at the North American box office, Iron Man 3 is still 2013's highest grossing movie, so it should come as no surprise that people flocked to watch it again on DVD and Blu-ray. It's also clearly a movie people want to own so they can have unlimited multiple viewings, because Iron Man 3 debuted at only #2 on Home Media Magazine's rental chart! Did you buy the threequel this past week?
