There had been rumours, but it was finally made official earlier this week; Wonder Woman will be joining Batman and Superman in 2015's Man of Steel follow-up! Despite having been around for over 70 years in the comic books and on the TV, the character has yet to receive the big screen treatment she so richly deserves. However, rather than being happy that the Amazonian Princess is FINALLY set to appear in a movie, the majority of fans were more concerned about Zack Snyder's casting decision. Does the former member of the Israeli army really have what it takes? (You can read my thoughts on her being cast in the movie by clicking HERE) Common sense says yes, but now that you've had some time to let it sink in over the past few days, we'd like to know how you currently feel about Gal Gadot taking on the role in Batman Vs. Superman!

The only thing right about her is her face. She looks like Diana, but she's too short, too skinny, and can't act worth a damn.
Brainiac13 - 12/7/2013, 11:37 AM
Better than fans fave Gina G.

Reni - 12/7/2013, 11:37 AM
She's very very pretty to me. Needs more weight though and i'm confident Snyder and Gym Jones will take care of that. Decent choice.
Nick56 - 12/7/2013, 11:37 AM
She has the exotic look, she is very beautiful, she is one of the better actors in the F&F franchise, she served in the Israeli military, and she will undoubtably gain some muscle for the role. I think this is great casting.
BlackFlash - 12/7/2013, 11:38 AM
Not a single curve.
Nomis - 12/7/2013, 11:38 AM
Interesting Choice.

I'm taking a to wait and see attitude about her.
VanthDreadstar - 12/7/2013, 11:39 AM
After being certain Heath Ledger would be a terrible Joker I no longer trust myself to decide anything. I'll sit in the back and think happy thoughts.
DonaldBlake68 - 12/7/2013, 11:40 AM
She'll do amazing. I think the subtle accent will be a nice touch and they'll bulk her up before shooting. I think it was a great choice. I personally would have liked to see Alexandra Daddario as Wonder Woman but Gal will be superb.
TyrantBoss - 12/7/2013, 11:40 AM
Diana is supposed to be from an island of Amazon women. She is supposed to be Big, Strong, Built, powerful, and feminine.

The two that I would have preferred were:
Choice 1: Jamie Alexander from Thor (but I think Marvel has their hooks in her)

Choice 2: Gina Carano (and those who say she can't act...well she can be taught to act), AND she can kick ass, is big, built, strong, tough and feminine. DC missed their golden opportunity.
npamusic - 12/7/2013, 11:41 AM
terrible choice. I'm not looking at her going "yeah I can see her in the role", I'm looking at her going "why in world would they pick her to play wonder woman?"

no thanks.
TonyChu - 12/7/2013, 11:41 AM
She has yet to be in anything in which one can grade her caliber of acting skills so I am just going to wait and see. The woman is beautiful no doubt and whole skinny complaint can be solved by an intense work out regiment. Something along the lines that the cast of Man of Steel had to endure. I am excited but at the same time a little cautious about this casting decision. My choice was Gemma Ateron.
JasonBlue - 12/7/2013, 11:42 AM
Guys.... we are finally getting a wonder woman and the choice could have been bad... this is a decent choice. Lets stick it out and see what we get. Just be happy we are FINALLY getting a live-action Diana Prince.
charlie2094 - 12/7/2013, 11:42 AM
She clearly managed to impress in the audition or what not, so I completely trust the casting decision and she definitely looks the part

Snyder will surely have her in the gym like he had the cast in Man of Steel do...not expecting any ridiculous change, but a little filling out would go a long way, think she'll be great
superbigguy32 - 12/7/2013, 11:43 AM
She'll be good, all she has to do is get cut up like Linda Hamilton did for Terminator 2. And being short they can work around that problem. Look at Tom Cruise 😄😄😄

@ VanthDreadstar -Love Your Avatar!

DREADSTAR deserves a movie!

TonyChu - 12/7/2013, 11:44 AM
I think the whole Gina Carano decision was dropped after her and Henry Cavill broke up. And rumor has it that Jamie Alexander has some sort of "non compete" clause in her contract with Marvel. So I don't know now if that hurts the chances of Idris Elba ever being cast as John Stewart.
BatManiac - 12/7/2013, 11:46 AM
I'm happy about the choice. I reckon Gal Gadot is going to own!
AstroZombie - 12/7/2013, 11:46 AM
She looks like Captain America, before the Super soldier Serum.
TonyChu - 12/7/2013, 11:46 AM
@andypand89 Now that is something along the lines I'm expecting or they use a variant costume of Wonder Woman in the animated film Justice Leauge: WAR.
ALmazing - 12/7/2013, 11:47 AM
Should I be glad that the most iconic female superhero in history is going to be played by a model turn actress that for the most part plays eye candy on all the movies she is in and has none existing acting range? No, plain and simple. Horrible casting.
BatManiac - 12/7/2013, 11:47 AM
DeathstrokeTerminator - 12/7/2013, 11:48 AM
I thought Cavill was too small for Superman when he was cast...

@ALmight
As if you were going to support anything DC related, I have seen you on past articles and you are a straight up troll.
SuperCat - 12/7/2013, 11:51 AM
She's pretty. Cavill needed work in the gym before he was really believable as Supes. Think once she works out a bit, she'll look more like the ideal WW.
Ignition - 12/7/2013, 11:51 AM
Yawn. Another comic book character is cast and there is predictable outrage over the choice. I trust the filmmakers who know what they need for their project way more than the people who think Amazonian women with cartoon-drawn faces and Oscar caliber skills grow on trees. She has impressed me no more or less than Jamie Alexander or any other recent fan favorite for the role. Wait and see for me.
ALmazing - 12/7/2013, 11:52 AM
@Batmaniac, is your point that Gina Carano shoudl play WW? 'Cause was a waste of dialogue is than scene.

Dinotron - 12/7/2013, 11:54 AM
Acting wise she honestly isn't that great, someone much better could have been chosen but she does have an exotic look.

All she has to go is eat some chicken and hit the gym
DeathstrokeTerminator - 12/7/2013, 11:54 AM
Gina Carano would have been a terrible choice, the girls lines were dubbed over on the movie Haywire! What does that tell you about her acting skills!
ALmazing - 12/7/2013, 11:54 AM
@DeathstrokeTerminator-I was straight up trolling on that article that tried to convinced people that IM3 was a great movie earlier. Stating my opinion is not trolling, somehow disagreeing with anything you DC fanboys like is.
SageMode - 12/7/2013, 11:54 AM
What's interesting/sad about this, is that there's more people concerned about her physique being a hindrance for WW and not her "limited" acting skills. Smh..........
DeathstrokeTerminator - 12/7/2013, 11:57 AM
@SageMode
My comment at 11:50 am applies to you especially
Zordan - 12/7/2013, 11:57 AM
Gal over Gina
HeronieAddict - 12/7/2013, 11:57 AM
Gadot is going to bring that exotic beauty that Diana *needs*. I find the skinny criticisms for her perplexing since Jamie Alexander, while great as Sif, seems too thin-lipped and is even bonier than Gal.

LET'S GO GADOT!!!
Nubase - 12/7/2013, 11:57 AM
Theres no problem with Gia, she will nail it, after what l saw in Faora in MOS, its gona be cool seeing WW on the big screen

What l hope now before the year is out is who is playing lex and who are the villians cos shooting starts in feb 2014 so expect more info shortly.
BatManiac - 12/7/2013, 11:58 AM
@ALmight

No, if anything, my point is that Gina Carano looks dog ugly compared to Gal Gadot. Gal Gadot has a much stronger presence than Gina Carano and is also taller than Gina Carano. Gal Gadot is also a better actor than Gina Carano, evidently.

Gina Carano has lacks presence and is a poor actor. She should stick to being a glorified stunt double.

Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman now. Deal with it.
ALmazing - 12/7/2013, 11:58 AM
@DeathstrokeTerminator-

"Gina Carano would have been a terrible choice, the girls lines were dubbed over on the movie Haywire! What does that tell you about her acting skills!"

And unfortunately Carano outshines Gadot in that F&F6 that Batmaniac just posted, what does that tell you?
DEVLIN712 - 12/7/2013, 11:59 AM
At least Scarlett Johansson could act when she was cast as Widow.
Wonder Woman deserves a lot better actress. Giving a great character to a poor actress is a let down. Looks aren't everything DC, just look at Dane DeHann as Harry Osborne
charlie2094 - 12/7/2013, 11:59 AM
DC/WB and Snyder know a lot rides on this film, and on this casting. There's no way she won't be great

She looks the part, she obviously managed to impress which is why she won the role, Snyder will have her in the gym to help fill her out...give up her a good/serious costume (not the almost swimsuit like design), get some good makeup and a good script and I'm sure she'll be fine, these sort of roles aren't just given out...
