Bane wearing a Batman costume? Oh snap.
duncboy - 12/15/2013, 7:00 AM
I hope they don't try to turn Bane into some sort of anti-hero after this though.
duncboy - 12/15/2013, 7:01 AM
First, second, and third?
MrDonut - 12/15/2013, 7:04 AM
Cyborg's redesign looks pretty cool, thinner n more sleek n looks like it has a matte grey colouration to it.wither way, I'm psyched for this shit, story has been pretty consistent n good so far, probably one of the best things Johns has done in the New 52 outside of Green Lantern n Aquaman.
thenerdicon4 - 12/15/2013, 7:08 AM
Bane putting on the Bat costume was freaking awesome in the latest issue of Arkham War, it was so stupid but I loved it! Lol.
duncboy - 12/15/2013, 7:29 AM
Shoot I've bought the latest issue of Arkham War but didn't read it yet, so this sort of spoils it about Bat-Bane
Spilox - 12/15/2013, 7:32 AM
That cover with Cyborg and Grid fighting and the heroes being different colours kind of reminds me of the metal men.
pesmerga44 - 12/15/2013, 7:42 AM
@Spilox

Read the caption above the cover because the single colored Justice League is the Metal Men. Personally though I hope they don't fight in the comic playing as the Justice League because they should be themselves not pretending to be the Justice League.
pesmerga44 - 12/15/2013, 7:44 AM
Oh NO the cover of Justice League of America they are trying to bring back the 90's mullet look of Superman OH MY GOD!
Sumitsjc - 12/15/2013, 7:54 AM
@Spilox those are the Metal Men.

Love it Bane-Bat thing.this is very best series thus far.
UltimateWarrior - 12/15/2013, 8:31 AM
Pes: Lawl!!!!!! That looks funny as hell, now that I noticed that.
rabid - 12/15/2013, 8:57 AM
Wake me up when this event is over. Good idea, dragged out far too long.
jimoakley666 - 12/15/2013, 8:59 AM
Yikes. A sleeveless Bat-costume looks kerr-ap!
Alphadog - 12/15/2013, 9:07 AM
Now that i think about it a Cyborg and Metal Men series would be cool. A lot of people want a Cyborg solo series and the Metal are interisting characters that really need a bit more exposure so why not kill two birds with one stone.
beane2099 - 12/15/2013, 9:27 AM
I like what's going in this story but this series has the same problem Secret Invasion had years ago. It's a great idea but it's stretched too far and wide. And you reach a point where you're like "get on with it already." The crux of the problem is it's basically one story told really slowly. Maybe this would have been better suited to a format similar to Dark Reign where it wasn't an event per say, just the current state of things where a succession of stories forwarded the narrative. I don't know if that makes sense or not.
ShogunNevets - 12/15/2013, 9:45 AM
So is batman like dead?
ShogunNevets - 12/15/2013, 9:46 AM
Like is Bruce Wayne dead?
rabid - 12/15/2013, 11:18 AM
No, but the world and the Secret Society think he is.
Epicboy - 12/15/2013, 11:44 AM
Wonder Woman crotch shot
BANE5000 - 12/15/2013, 12:53 PM
Any guesses on who the Hooded Man is?
Daniellantern - 12/15/2013, 10:00 PM
@BANE5000 I do believe the hooded guy is Alexander Luthor Sr/Jr.

Where the hell is Johnny Quick, Atomica and Power RIng in that Forever Evil #7 cover.

That Cyborg and Metal Men kinda remind me to Alex Ross's Justice.
MightyZeus - 12/15/2013, 11:14 PM
I love those covers. They look spectacular..
BenjiWest - 12/16/2013, 12:04 AM
Great covers. And this does seem so tediously drawn out. First the month of villains stuff, now this primarily villain narrative. At least Batman is still at Year Zero.
loki668 - 12/16/2013, 12:10 AM
I think that it would be very easy for Bane to wear a Batman costume. He doesn't admit it very often but he admires Batman and respects him for coming back from Bane's "botched, chiropractic maneuver". He not only came back from it, but he kicked Bane's ass for it. That means a lot in Bane's worldview. That's one of the things that I loved about the "Secret Six" series, it showed some interesting motivations and traits to some characters like Bane.
loki668 - 12/16/2013, 1:47 AM
I think Owlman is going to have some trouble with Deathstroke.
SADVIPER - 12/16/2013, 2:10 AM
THE ART IS AWESOME!!! THE STORIES AND CREATIVITIES IS SECOND TO NONE.
