POLL: THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG - What Did You Think?
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was finally released on Friday and so far seems almost as divisive as last year's first instalment in the trilogy. So, what did CBM's vocal community make of the sequel, and did you choose to see it in HFR 3D or regular 2D? Here's your chance to tell us!
I loved The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (as you can see from my review of the movie by clicking here). Just like the first instalment, the sequel is very different to The Lord of the Rings, and for good reason; they are after all based on two very different books and take place at quite different eras in Middle-Earth. Regardless, it's been clear from the comment sections here on CBM that you all have some very passionate feeling about Peter Jackson's middle part of his trilogy, so here's your chance to let us know how you all rated The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! As usual, be sure to sound off with your thoughts below after casting your votes.

Tolkien, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
