Why do you people waste minutes of your lives expressing hate on a fictional character? You truly don't have anything else better to do? And look, I don't know if you people have ever read a comic before, but they will revert back to Peter being Peter. Relax. Go outside and hug a puppy.

Anyways, the art looks great, but sad Yost is off this issue.

"Why do you people waste minutes of your lives expressing hate on a fictional character?" - Because we truly care about the characters. They have been apart of our childhood and or mainly they have been apart of our livelihoods. Characters that may have had an influence on us today. Characters that we have read through their messages towards life, "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility", a line that has taught us bravery and most importantly courage. It's when these characters that we know and love are treated indigently we feel the need to express our own emotions because we have cared about the spirit of the character of who they were and we know how they should be. Hate is a strong word you used but the meaning to dislike the favoring portrayal in light is a much better definition to define.

So if Marvel screws up a character are we just supposed to accept they screwed up the character and act like nothing has happened? What if they gave The Punisher super powers suddenly? Are we supposed to let them control what they do with their heroes even if it means taking away an important element of the character? What matters the most is giving the comic book readers what they want which equals in turn of profits and also the ability which not only benefits themselves but he fans. It's only an assumption now Peter is going to be back but as fans now we have let our voices be heard. It's not for us to stay in the dark about this or even just ignoring the matter.

@psycho

I agree with you. Let your stance be known, don't buy the book. Of course, I don't mind people saying they don't enjoy it and such, but people go out of their way to moan and complain about every little darn thing. It's awful and part of the reason I don't activity use forums and comments. The amount of hatred is insane. Very rare to find a rational fan with a sound logic. Back to letting them know your thoughts, I think people should voice their opinions in a reasonable matter... With that said, I bet 80% of the time it will fall on deaf ears, though. They honestly don't care what we think because they all would have known not to make that type of change to spidey and pretty much all past events. The company not making money screams a lot louder than people trashing the creators on forums and comment sections.

And one more thing, Spidey has been my favorite character since my earlier childhood. I'm wasnt fond of the change and didn't buy the book. I randomly picked it up and enjoyed it, and don't mind this new take for awhile. Nothing will change the stories that have been told and how they mean to you. Only the reader decides that fate. I am REALLY bummed one of my all-time favorites isn't back, Richard Rider. All the great tram-ups he had with spidey through the 90's but I am not making an up roaring and being upset because I didn't get my way. What am I doing about that? I am not purchasing the book or suggesting it to another. If it is good, that would be a different story.

with Marco Checchetto, Gabriele Dell'Otto and Simone Bianchi (born in my town!), i can say that Italian comic book artists can be considered some of the best in the industry! (and i'm proud of this! ;) )

Loved his work in the Lackluster Crossover
"The Omega Effect" from last year.

As well as Ruck's wonderful yet cut short Run on
The Punisher
