CaptainObvious - 12/24/2013, 11:03 AM
I really hate Frank Miller.
KindredMac - 12/24/2013, 11:06 AM
So where is the really cool cover variant?
Is it not loading? All I see is some chicken scratch of Catwoman...
otusasio451 - 12/24/2013, 11:07 AM
Don't we all, CaptainObvious. Don't we all. Let's try this again.

KindredMac - 12/24/2013, 11:07 AM
.. With a five head no less
Prime - 12/24/2013, 11:11 AM
Heh, Superman didn't have an anniversary issue...Anyway, Frank miller sucks.
UncleBurnsie - 12/24/2013, 11:11 AM
Sexy pussycat.I thought the binding of the book was a striper pole.
fedup - 12/24/2013, 11:23 AM
You stay classy, Frank...
irishyardball - 12/24/2013, 11:43 AM
Say what you will about his drawing style, but he is a great graphically. I personally like his art, but then again, I'm probably in the minority, that doesn't think every book needs to have a super realism look to it.

His art is gritty and grundgey and which is perfect for Batman and his cast of characters.
LensmanMatt92 - 12/24/2013, 11:46 AM
Needs more whores and goddamn Batman.
WhiteSAMURAI22 - 12/24/2013, 12:02 PM
At least it looks like an improvement over his art style he has been using lately.
CaptainObvious - 12/24/2013, 12:25 PM
Remember when Catwoman wore a fish net body-stocking? Of course you don't.

It just goes to show how much respect Miller has for one of Batman's most iconic villains and women in general.

Frank Miller WAS a genius and still is one of my all time favorite creators. As much as I hated All Star Batman & Robin and TDKSA, I love Year One, TDKR, Sin City, Daredevil, Ronin and 300 that much more. As far as his treatment of female characters I kind of like it. Call me sexist, but I fond it hot and I am really into S&M, so [frick] it.
SnapperCarr - 12/24/2013, 1:51 PM
Frank Miller sucks donkey balls.
CaptainObvious - 12/24/2013, 2:12 PM
@batman1216- Every single woman he writes is a prostitute or a "whore" as he likes to call them. Miller cannot write a female character unless she is in some way sexually gratified. Whether she be a prostitute, stripper, or porn star.

The only reason characters like Carrie Kelly get away with it is because she is only 12 years old. And even Frank Miller isn't sick enough to exploit teenagers or little girls. No, he sees them as daughter figures that need to be protected. Adult women on the other hand are just angry pieces of ass that need sex with an alpha male to calm them down.

It's degrading, perverted, and misogynistic. Only few of the reasons I hate Frank Miller.

Also, here is how Miller sees Wonder Woman. Classy.

Frank Miller is a badass.
He's got what most artists try to!

I favor his older artwork & writing but his new stufff is cool.
There is no taking away from work he did past or present,ya don't like it..don't buy it.

If Frank Miller wrote Peanuts:

That's the first Frank Miller drawing I've liked in years
Nomis - 12/24/2013, 8:48 PM
Gwad... Anyone Remember when Frank Miller could REALLY draw...

Seems like a lifetime ago.
batman1216 - 12/24/2013, 8:52 PM
@CaptainObvious I really don't have a problem with any of that. I am sorry, but the objectification of women in comics is not something that really matters to me. I respect that offends some people, but I kind of like alpha male laced stories. I like to see the bad ass male hero bang some hot seductive ass. Maybe its wrong, but it is what it is.
batman1216 - 12/24/2013, 8:56 PM
I do think Miller has long been washed up and I have despised everything he has pretty much done in the last decade, but it doesn't change the fact that he has written some of the best and most influential comic stories of all time and is one of my all time favorite creators. The guy definitely has his problems though.
nuclearpriest - 12/24/2013, 11:59 PM
Thank God this dude doesn't do anything at Marvel anymore. He's all yours DC!
