What's with the Bieber hair on Star Lord?
InfiniteMonkey - 12/26/2013, 5:42 PM
You could cut the pretentiousness in the air with a bloody butter knife it was so thick. LOL
SCURVYDOG619 - 12/26/2013, 5:43 PM
Kevin Maguire on a Marvel book.....

And on a book about a dysfunctional team....

Can you say the return of "Bwah-Ha-Ha?"

ds9epicfan - 12/26/2013, 6:20 PM

Marvel shoulda got al simmons

He would [frick] everybody up :)
vtopa - 12/26/2013, 7:18 PM
Gamora's Costume is terrible. I like the old skimpy one WAY better. She just looks like a GI JOE movie reject. The banter is good.

Of course, I'll be happy when they bring her boyfriend back from the dead and give them their own series: "Gamora Loves Nova!"

TheBoss117 - 12/26/2013, 7:47 PM
Angela is a badass
Praetorian - 12/26/2013, 7:57 PM
Cant believe Iron Man [frick]ed Gamora, he's into green chicks I guess... She Hulk then Gamora. Of course it may just be that he's into HOT ass. Black Widow, She Hulk, Pepper Potts, Gamora, Maria Hill and I can only assume Tigra and Scarlet Witch
TheAlmightyGinger - 12/26/2013, 8:21 PM
So I hate star lords look and I'm still baffled why Angela is here at all! She should have stayed with spawn.
TelaVizion - 12/26/2013, 8:31 PM
Who wouldn't be into green chicks?
No0ne - 12/26/2013, 8:34 PM
Great pencil, color and inks, well done.
HeadPool420 - 12/26/2013, 8:44 PM
Nice art. Bad dialog.
TonyChu - 12/26/2013, 8:50 PM
I like the original Star Lord outfit way better than this new one. I'll even take the one he was wearing at the launch of Marvel Now.
TonyChu - 12/26/2013, 8:52 PM
@thewolfx Spawn in the Marvel Universe would be GAME OVER. He could pretty much beat every one in both the DC and Marvel universe.
Humperdink - 12/26/2013, 9:36 PM
Ooookay.

Well, Star Lord looks...uh...fabulous?
jlabatman - 12/26/2013, 9:52 PM
I know very little about this Angela character, have only seen her a few times over the past year or two, but I'm digging her costume! Nice artwork!
johnblake - 12/26/2013, 9:59 PM
Somebody help me. Is spawn going to be in marvel . If he is and he doesn't fight ghost rider then somebody is going to hell
pesmerga44 - 12/26/2013, 10:15 PM
No Spawn is not going to be in Marvel. Neil Gaimon and Todd McFarlane were in legal battles for years over the rights of certain characters Angela being one of the main ones. Neil was awarded rights by a judge so Neil took Angela and brought her to Marvel hence why she is in Marvel now.
pesmerga44 - 12/26/2013, 10:18 PM
Also in the rights were Medieval Spawn and Marvelman which Gaiman is going to finish writing the story for Marvelman he started over 25 years ago for Marvel.
mgeoff88 - 12/26/2013, 11:08 PM
Why does Star-Lord look like he got a haircut like Justin Bieber?

Good artwork, but the dialogue needs work.
jimoakley666 - 12/27/2013, 12:38 AM
Nice artwork. This 'Angela' seems a bit pointless though.
charlie2094 - 12/27/2013, 1:07 AM
Angela's costume is awful...far prefer Gamoras new costume, can't stand the awful, swimsuit/thong like costumes a lot of female characters tend to have, look ridiculous
MsDarkPhoenix - 12/27/2013, 1:53 AM
@jimoakley666 Boobs are never pointless in comic books...

@Charlie2094 I agree with you, but the rest of the people who like comics (mostly boys) disagree. I never understood how superheroines always look awesome. They are fighting villains for hours and their hair still look like they just came out from the hair saloon. And the ones that I totally can't understand are those who are also wives and mothers. They have enough time to take care of their families, look like supermodels and occasionally save the world. I guess the days in their universes last waaaay longer than ours. I can't explain how they have time to do everything in any other way.
ELgUaSoN - 12/27/2013, 2:08 AM

Can't wait for trailer!
ELgUaSoN - 12/27/2013, 2:13 AM

Now watch Angela show up in the MCU HolySht!

marvel72 - 12/27/2013, 7:07 AM
lovely artwork,to a good series so far.
TheAbomination - 12/27/2013, 8:27 AM
Writing is pretty questionable. Other than that, it looks good.
YoungThanos - 12/27/2013, 8:51 AM
Not really feeling this new series so I stop buying it after #5.

Did they ever explain how Starlord and Thanos servived but Richard Rider is still dead?
RajunRemyLebeau - 12/27/2013, 9:04 AM
Haters gonna hate. Arts tight. Banter is entertaining. If you don't like it, don't buy it. That's why we have previews. Marvel isn't going to miss you.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 12/27/2013, 10:37 AM
I like Gamora's new costume. Maguire's style doesn't make it work, though. It works better in a more realistic style. It could look a bit more unique to Gamora, though. Maybe use her old colors. The fishnet leotard was just ridiculous, especially in freaking space. Just look at Angela.

I still don't understand what she's doing in the Marvel U, story-wise, other than helping Gaiman thumb his nose at McFarlane.
Melkaticox - 12/27/2013, 11:20 AM
Gamora's costume is better than the ridiculous thong she used to wear. She's supposed to be the deadliest woman in the galaxy, not a stripper.
I have some issues with Angela's boobplate, but eh...baby steps.

And Star-Lord's costume I guess...but from what I've seen that's gonna change soon, so...
vtopa - 12/27/2013, 12:16 PM
@Intruder, @Melkaticocox, give me a break. They are SUPERHEROES. Why shouldn't they look hot? Personally, I love the fact that a woman can dress like a stripper and still be the deadliest warrior in the universe. Its cute how you guys want realism on this one small thing (the outfit) but are willing to suspend all reality when it comes to everything else (like a green skinned woman killing hundreds in battle). What's next? Male super heroes shouldn't look like they've been to the gym? Get over yourselves.

NoAssemblyReqd - 12/27/2013, 3:53 PM
Angela has been an opaque cipher since her introduction, and for me this only makes her all the more interesting.
manofmidgard - 12/27/2013, 4:01 PM
seems odd to take away gamora's old skimpy outfit and then add a different scantily clad babe to the comic. i am unfamiliar with the angela character but she reminds me of valkyrie.
manofmidgard - 12/27/2013, 4:05 PM
wasn't the point of gamora's old costume that she just didn't need armor? i miss it. this seems pretty awesome though.
=)
ATrueHero1987 - 12/27/2013, 4:28 PM
I like Gamora & Drax's new costume...well just had the hood/cape that she usually wears to her current costume.
