I really love that Superior Spidey run, ithas brought something real different to the spidey mythology
duncboy - 2/6/2014, 9:20 AM
Wish they'd somehow keep Superior Spidey around once Parker comes back, but all good things must come to an end :/
Mrcool210 - 2/6/2014, 9:20 AM
YA DUN GOOFED OCK. now pay for it. if ock stays around in his own series seperate to anything else that won't be too bad, but he is not the real "Superior Spider-Man"
TheClemster - 2/6/2014, 9:26 AM
Yeah love the art much more than Ramos who I could never stand,

The only series I liked from him was the Crimson one
Humperdink - 2/6/2014, 9:30 AM
Art is tight.

I wonder when they'll add in the new version of Electro from the film into the comics?

I actually think he looks pretty intense and creepy.
Plus he's fun to draw.

now it's coming to an end and everyone is suddenly sad :P i'm glad, hated it from the beginning.
manofsteel1942 - 2/6/2014, 9:39 AM
Since Scarlet Spider is canceled they should let Kaine take over Superior Spider-Man. His attitude was similar to Ocks. He had a no nonsense/don't take crap from anybody and wasn't much for pulling punches.

This is just a mess.. [frick] Dan Slott

Humperdink - 2/6/2014, 9:58 AM
Oh shit.

I just found out that director Marc Webb re-tweeted my Electro art!
HAH! Wow.

rabid - 2/6/2014, 10:06 AM
Fight, Otto, fight!
Kick that pesky weakwilled Parker back down into your subconscious.
Millz333 - 2/6/2014, 10:15 AM
This looks soooo much better when Ramos isn't penciling. Much more of a serious tone to it...
rabid - 2/6/2014, 10:19 AM
@Humperdink
The new Electro is already in the comics. Ultimate Spider-Man, 2001!
KeefNCookies - 2/6/2014, 10:20 AM
There have been worse books the past few years but this (and the other Superior titles except Carnage) has been the most struggle to want, read and enjoy. Good riddance Octavius.

if marvel owns the rights to the movies now....why don't they do a spin off movie comic. Like the ultimate spider-man world....do a Marvel Movie Universe world. Tie them all in.
Alphadog - 2/6/2014, 11:32 AM
@Humperdink Oau is a project that a few members on this site including me have been working on since the start of the year. Basically imagine Ultimate Marvel but created by the fans and published online for free. We are actually drawing comics. We have about 39 members right now. We really need artists because only half of the comics have someone drawing them. We have two separate universes, one for Marvel and one for DC, but we have plans of adapting other properties later on like TMNT and G.I Joe. Here are some links that you should read.

Finally!!
Humperdink - 2/6/2014, 12:09 PM
@rabid

You mean this guy?

Yeah, I've seen him and I know they based the film version off of him but I actually like the look of film version more than the Ultimate one. They don't look exactly the same to me.

The Ultimate Electro from the comics is pure living electricity, which we've seen multiple times in the comic world, whereas the film version looks like a fleshy electricity sponge/conduit. Plus he's Black, and I don't think the Ultimate Elctro is...but I could be wrong I never read those comics. Anyway, I want the new look from the film version in the comics.

@Clemster
Thanks man!
Humperdink - 2/6/2014, 12:10 PM
@Alphadog

Let me check out those info links.
rabid - 2/6/2014, 12:16 PM
He turned to pure electricity later, probably like he will in the climax of the movie. When he started he was still flesh and blood with sparks.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 2/6/2014, 12:24 PM
Only thing I will miss is the costume. I hope they plan to update Peter's costume and not be so classic.
Alphadog - 2/6/2014, 12:50 PM
@Humperdink Okay.

Legit new suit
damntree - 2/6/2014, 5:10 PM
Maybe they can give Ock Miguel's body. Superior Spider-Man is awesome; hate to see it go.
justsomedude - 2/6/2014, 7:04 PM
Superior spiderman is way more awesome than spectacular/amazing/ultimate spiderman. Never enjoyed any spiderman comicbooks like I've done with these issues.. hope it won't be then final end for superior spiderman.
JustThwipIt - 2/7/2014, 5:54 AM
@Humperdink
Kudos to you man!! It's an amazing art you made there, no wonder you at least got a Retweet!

I've been digging the Superior run since issue #1, but it was only for the fact that I saw Peter's "Spirit", otherwise I don't think I would've tagged along. Nonetheless it's been a great read, specially because it opens a hell lot of doors for future writers to let loose their creativity (but please no "one more day" sort of creativity).
Can't wait for Pete's return.

Give Ock a body and call him Arachnid (sounds fierce alright and gives an "8 limb octopuss" reference).
bananaking - 2/8/2014, 12:06 PM
Goodbye otto hello amazing spider man
