It's good to see those art classes Rob Liefeld have been taking, are paying off. :/
BennyFromTheBronx - 2/11/2014, 4:25 AM
This ain't yo daddy's cable and psylocke.
deepee3 - 2/11/2014, 4:30 AM
Ugh....that was tough to look at.
jasonicus - 2/11/2014, 4:34 AM
Terrible art. Dude needs to learn how to draw faces.
CorndogBurglar - 2/11/2014, 4:54 AM
Marrow might be one of the worst X-Characters ever created.

Fantomex, however, is probably one of the coolest X-Characters ever created, so I suppose it makes up for it.
jimoakley666 - 2/11/2014, 5:00 AM
The red highlights add nothing to Fantomex's suit. Dude looks cool in pure white.

Wonder what's going on with Cable. The head band and eyepatch look very 80's action cinema. And why has he got the metal arm back? This is twice he's lost it only for it to magically reappear, probably with no explanation. The whole point of that Soldier X book several years ago was he lost the TO-virus. Barmy.

Who's the rainbow head? Looks like that thing Al used to mess about with in Quantum Leap.
jimoakley666 - 2/11/2014, 5:01 AM
That second cover is much better, by the way. Looks like a 70's / 80's sci-fi novela cover. Nice n' pulpy.
WruceBayne - 2/11/2014, 5:08 AM
Im glad Cable has his metal arm back. I don't care why it's back but it's back and I like it. That other arm was garbage.
Jackraow21 - 2/11/2014, 5:18 AM
I want this now. Loving the camouflage uniforms, and definitely glad Cable has a more normal looking metal arm again. That other one was indeed garbage. Quite literally in fact, as I think Forge made it from scrap he found in a junkyard.
UltimateWarrior - 2/11/2014, 5:28 AM
Seriously?!??! Another #1?
Pedrito - 2/11/2014, 5:31 AM
Not digging the art, baby.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 2/11/2014, 5:36 AM
Manga art needs to stay in Manga where I enjoy it.
marvel72 - 2/11/2014, 5:43 AM
looks pretty decent to me.
SimpleeComplex - 2/11/2014, 6:08 AM
Oh boy X-Force reboot for 185th time... My fave X-Force was UXF by Rick Remender.
SimpleeComplex - 2/11/2014, 6:08 AM
@sid lol they sound like male porn star names hahah
imaginejim - 2/11/2014, 6:13 AM
Actually, wouldn't this be the second look since the first look was already published by yourself a month ago? http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=92322
Tetrahedron - 2/11/2014, 6:19 AM
@CorndogBurglar: Um, that honor goes to an X-Men character from the late '90s called Maggot.

And Fantomex was created long before Grant Morrison re-appropriated him for New X-Men and was originally called Diabolik.
Doopie - 2/11/2014, 6:23 AM
first look with text!
mctrinket - 2/11/2014, 6:43 AM
Sloppy artwork.
Havenless - 2/11/2014, 6:43 AM
Asian artist makes all of his characters Asian. Am I being racist, or is HE being racist?
Dunejedi - 2/11/2014, 6:45 AM
Ugh, this looks like sh!t right out of the gate. I never liked Cable but I get why people do. Marrow, though? The main reason a team like this should exist in the MU is to go around killing off useless characters like Marrow.
beane2099 - 2/11/2014, 6:47 AM
After Cable got rid of the Technovirus all he had was a little deformed arm (which didn't look that way at the end of Cable vs Avengers but what're you gonna do). I admit I prefer this look over the one with the giant funky cyber arm. I always wanted to see Mimic on X Force. I thought that wold be a useful guy to have on a team like that.
126thst - 2/11/2014, 6:50 AM
Not a fan of the art but love a good X-Force story. We'll see..
DTor91 - 2/11/2014, 6:53 AM
@jimoakley666

Phil Noto for you right there. You should check out Black Widow if you haven't already.
duncboy - 2/11/2014, 7:11 AM
I really enjoyed "Cable & X-Force", but have zero intentions of picking up this book.
tomasocelot - 2/11/2014, 7:45 AM
huh I didn't know snake joined X-Force.

The art on this is off. If marvel had any balls the line up would be Cyclops, Domino, M (Monet) Forge, Sabretooth, Fantomex, X-23. Imagine how Wolverine would flip when he discovers that X-Force is back and his Frenemy Cyclops, his daughter, and most hated rival Sabretooth are working together.
HelaGood - 2/11/2014, 7:54 AM
so both Cable and the other X-Force book are now gone and they are replaced by this?????!!!?!?!?!?
loved Cable & X-Force...this one... i am very pessimistic about...
dellamorte1872 - 2/11/2014, 8:12 AM
Shoulda carried some aspects over, COLOSSUS woulda been a nice touch.
Jackraow21 - 2/11/2014, 8:23 AM
I like Cable as Marvel's answer to Solid Snake. His look in Avengers: X-Sanction was very Marcus Fenix/Gears of War inspired too. He's basically like their analog for any popular gun-toting video game hero these days, which is kind of fun in my opinion. Initially he was very inspired by film action heroes and was like a combination of Rambo, Kyle Reese and the Terminator itself all in one. So this is just a continued evolution of the character. It's like how Wolverine started out as a James Dean type "rebel without a cause" and then evolved into an older Clint Eastwood type, and then further evolved into a smartass John McClain from Die Hard type. Now I have no idea what Logan is supposed to be, but that's probably because he's in so many books and on so many teams now. He's an Avenger, an X-man and a headmaster who doesn't kill anymore according to him (but sometimes still does anyway). Talk about a mess...
Humperdink - 2/11/2014, 8:49 AM
Looks out of focus.
RajunRemyLebeau - 2/11/2014, 9:06 AM
actionmoviefanatix - 2/11/2014, 9:12 AM
I really like the idea that X-Force has this militaristic type look but I hate this art. Everything looks really stiff, almost like mannequins. I can't look at it any longer.
Bl00dwerk - 2/11/2014, 9:12 AM
Cable and X-Force was awesome and shouldn't have been cancelled...
MARVELOUSMARL - 2/11/2014, 9:16 AM
were these covers drawn by a 10 year old? sure looks that way....
Shamo - 2/11/2014, 9:23 AM
I personally Love the art, to be honest. Also, these are some of the best x-men costumes I've seen. Potentially bad writing aside I can't wait read to this book
Bark4Soul - 2/11/2014, 11:36 AM
Whats the point of buying any of these, they shake up every mutant in a can, pick a few from the jar and call them X-(Insert name here), or add Secret, or some dumb adjective in front of it. Every year, boom, shake up...glad I'm not reading this crap
Nigrutin - 2/11/2014, 11:56 AM
Ughh.. the art man..
jimoakley666 - 2/11/2014, 12:20 PM
@DTor91 - Not read his Black Widow. But his work on an original story from... quite a few years ago now; Beautiful Killer, was gorgeously done. Didn't rate his X-Force stuff as much, though.
