Collider recently caught up with Captain America: The Winter Soldier screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely to quiz them about the planned Agent Carter TV series. Highlights from the interview include the fact that ABC has the script for the pilot but haven't given it the green light as of yet, Howard Stark is a recurring character in the series and that it would start in 1946 (somewhere around the middle of the Agent Carter One Shot rather than before or after). Interestingly, the plan is for it to have a 13-episode season rather than the standard 22 or 24 episodes given to most network shows. Be sure to check out the interview above for all the details.

Sick of these Agent shows.
npamusic - 3/13/2014, 2:25 PM
so this is now actually confirmed??? sweet.
StarYeezus - 3/13/2014, 2:28 PM
@Kurne

Easy solution. Don't watch them.
Hexagram - 3/13/2014, 2:30 PM
They're making an Agent Carters show? I'd watch Agent Carters.
Inhuman - 3/13/2014, 2:35 PM
Agent Carter season 1 will be a Phase 2 show
GliderMan - 3/13/2014, 2:36 PM
NO MORE SPIN OFFS!
NoAssemblyReqd - 3/13/2014, 2:36 PM
A backdoor pilot on AoS is the most likely scenario. Some sort of cross-temporal parallel storyline.

My question is who would the villains on AC be? For that matter, who would be the superhero cameos? Sif? The Warriors Three?
GliderMan - 3/13/2014, 2:37 PM
I don't want another spin-off. It's one of the reasons AOS has been so up and down. And I wouldn't want to watch it. But I'd have to, because it's Marvel.

Don't question my logic.
AshleyJWilliams - 3/13/2014, 2:38 PM
I'm definitely gonna be watching this... Way more interested in it, than Agents of Shield!
GodzillaKart - 3/13/2014, 2:39 PM
If this happens it will hands down be the CBTV show, present or future, that I am most excited about. Could be great.
NoAssemblyReqd - 3/13/2014, 2:39 PM
On another note, it would be great to see Tommy Lee Jones as Phillips again. His CA:TFA lines (by Joss Whedon, of course) were a highlight.
GliderMan - 3/13/2014, 2:41 PM
I don't see Tommy Lee Jones returning. But if he did it'd cool.
FerFogs - 3/13/2014, 2:43 PM
Early SHIELD stories, could be nice.

@whysoserious54 - Hot damn!
NoAssemblyReqd - 3/13/2014, 2:48 PM
AGENT CARTER OF MARS
kevberg - 3/13/2014, 2:51 PM
Haley Atwell is SMOKIN' Hot and the One-shot was friggin awesome..she rocked the fight scenes. I want this SHOW NOW! :D
npamusic - 3/13/2014, 2:54 PM
It would... technically be a Phase 1 show, since it is based in the 1940s. I digress though.
nowtheresaBATman - 3/13/2014, 2:55 PM
Squeeze ginger! SQUEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZE!!
JerBear - 3/13/2014, 2:56 PM
Hopefully Neil McDonough, Derek Luke, JJ Field, Kenneth Choi and Bruno Ricci are game.
Interestein - 3/13/2014, 3:03 PM
Better be called AGENT CARTER and the HOWLING COMMANDO'S!
ProfessorX - 3/13/2014, 3:08 PM
13 episodes should be more than sufficient. To be honest I'm more interested in the Netflix shows.
Monitorearthprime - 3/13/2014, 3:20 PM
I second the: AGENT CARTER and the HOWLING COMMANDOS!!!
SuperCat - 3/13/2014, 3:33 PM

Nick56 - 3/13/2014, 5:03 PM
upcoming cbm tv shows

The Flash > Constantine > Gotham >>>>>>> Agent Carter = iZombie
KeithM - 3/13/2014, 5:14 PM
I'd watch it. A period piece, no superheroes to muddy the waters (will they/won't they show up? No, they won't, period. Sorted). Just as a character piece with the focus on Peggy as a very capable woman in a very male-dominated world with her investigating and bringing down some larger than life villain and you've got something very different and potentially interesting.

Make it so.
ALmazing - 3/13/2014, 5:35 PM
I really loved the Agent Carter Marvel One shot, I'll definitely will give this a try.
mgeoff88 - 3/13/2014, 6:41 PM
I can't wait for this show! It's not unusual for only 13-15 episodes to be ordered for a TV series when it first starts out.

If the series is a success, expect more episodes to be ordered for a season. That's the way it works.

Did anybody else watch the Ian Fleming mini-series with Dominic Cooper? The guy knocked it out of the park. He is an incredibly talented actor.
KINGPEN266 - 3/13/2014, 7:00 PM
AS MUCH AS I LIKE DEM TIGG OOOO BITTIES ON THIS TV SHOW .....IM OUT
tvor03 - 3/13/2014, 7:28 PM
There's no show yet, people. There's a script for a pilot that hasn't been green lit yet. That's still like six steps away from being an actual tv show.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 3/13/2014, 7:31 PM
@ mgeoff88 I watched the man who became bond. It was an excellent series. Can't wait for agent carter if greenlit. The one shot was great. Marvel knows how to treat their women.
mgeoff88 - 3/13/2014, 8:52 PM
@TheRealRemyLebeau I just wish the series would've been longer. Yah, I really enjoyed the Agent Carter one-shot. That is my favorite one to date.

I'm hoping Marvel Studios has a Ms. Marvel movie planned for Phase 3.
19001560 - 3/13/2014, 9:31 PM
Daredevil>>>>>all CMB tv shows!
TheRealistStarLord - 3/13/2014, 10:21 PM
I knew phase 1 isn't over yet..
MericawithanM - 3/13/2014, 10:39 PM
I really hope this gets green lit. It wouldn't be as marvel-esque as some may want but I really enjoyed the one-shot and would love to see more of it.
