Whoever did that art work needs to get off the freaking meds and stop eating fake mushrooms.

HelaGood - 4/4/2014, 5:32 PM
god that art sucks
SigmaCenturion - 4/4/2014, 5:34 PM
Marvel what happened to your artists did they break their hands?
KeefNCookies - 4/4/2014, 5:40 PM
What Ifs havent been nearly as good recently as they used to be, though last issue was actually entertaining. Think I'll skip this one due to the "art," or lack thereof.
wookiefit76 - 4/4/2014, 5:40 PM
I have no idea why, but the art reminds me of old Hostess commercials in comic books.

Twinkie the Kid rides again.

SonofBatman - 4/4/2014, 5:42 PM
Nice but the art is complete crap.

Marvels art today reminds me of independent comics from the 90's!

That art is shit.
JRM1995 - 4/4/2014, 6:23 PM
Marvel has a crap track record, plus, Disney doesn't have the balls, LOL...they'll never touch alcoholism with Stark, heck, they already cured him at the end of that shit movie IM3....
Unas - 4/4/2014, 6:29 PM
Garbage art.
SuperioR23SupermaN - 4/4/2014, 6:49 PM
The art looks like it's from Mad magazine
beane2099 - 4/4/2014, 7:12 PM
That art is horrible - at least for that kind of comic.
sKeemAn - 4/4/2014, 7:46 PM
If I've said it once I've said a few hundred times. MS needs to do a tv show on the What if? series of the MCU. SCifi channel would eat it up.
ComradeGrey - 4/4/2014, 8:48 PM
If you hate the art that much, make your own [frick]ing comics.
PunkRockJesus - 4/4/2014, 9:39 PM
That art...
ScionStorm - 4/4/2014, 9:39 PM
@Wookiefit- Stop posting pictures of Gusto's granddaughter.

The art looks like those 60's San Francisco underground comics fueled by drugs that had not yet been named at the time. Why do they have to keep reminding us about this horrible event. It retconned itself. Now can't we just forget it ever happened?
Klone - 4/5/2014, 12:14 AM
Oh good lord what the [frick] is that... Marvel is so cheap now they have their artists literally vomit onto paper?
jimoakley666 - 4/5/2014, 1:26 AM
Love Wolverine's uniform in this. Well. Apart from the captain's hat. But the big Quitely jacket is aces.
Osborn - 4/5/2014, 2:23 AM
Love the art it's odd but I think superhero comics needs more of this. The story sounds weird, I'm not sure to see how stark's death would cause an infinite armor war or why Spider-man would have to form a new Fantastic Four team rather than... just... any team why has it to be Fantastic Four (there was a what if "infinity gauntlet" with this same FF team)
DukeAcureds - 4/5/2014, 10:16 AM
How dare you make art so... arty. We're robots dammit! We want it to look like everything else. If you don't look to conform we will fear and hate you.
We don't want arty art! Just be accurate and safe, damn you!
And that goes for you too, Chris Burnham! And you, Geoff Darrow! And especially you, Picasso!!! My clocks don't do that!!!
dethpillow - 4/5/2014, 4:50 PM
yeah, superhero comics need way more of everything. more style. even style some of u hate. bring it on. keep doing stuff like this, keep it fresh. sometimes i think it's ugly as hell too, but keep it up. right on, Marvel.

What If stories are always ridiculous tho. everything always has to happen, no matter what it is, it just has to happen. everyone dies, everyone becomes president, everyone becomes Hulk, everyone is a Herald of Galactus. everyone marries every random person they run into. everyone is always responsible for the end of the world. I haven't read a good What If story in so long. maybe never, i'd have to check.

i guess we're just lucky that Marvel picked 616 as the one to focus on.
Joementum - 4/6/2014, 6:12 AM
The art is a style. It is consistent and maintains integrity.
However, the lack of background takes away from a panels environment and leaves them looking two dimensional.

The IronMen/Tanks cover is perfect.
Too bad the interior wasn't that well-rounded.
