Say that there are SPOILERS in your title. I was smart enough not to read but I fear others may not be.

McNyagano - 4/30/2014, 12:53 PM
I disagree but that was funny as [frick]!!

MrDonut - 4/30/2014, 12:53 PM
This comic is pretty much spot on if not a little harsh lol... I liked the film better than Webb's first try, but it still failed to meet/surpass Raimi's best. Giamatti actually pissed me off as Rhino though, had a feeling he would hamm it up, but he was absolute shit, literally didn't understand a word he said, and he comes off more annoying than anything else.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:00 PM
This film sucked. I honestly can't believe I watched it.
Doopie - 4/30/2014, 1:01 PM
Josh you naughty boy!
NoMore - 4/30/2014, 1:02 PM
Josh continues to make news about his own opinion. Remember when he was trying hard to report every time when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was a flop of tv numbers? Now that AOS is good and not a flop of tv number, Josh has not make any of this articles anymore.

I wonder why...

Oh yes, it's against his own opinion.
fettastic - 4/30/2014, 1:03 PM
I like Garfield's giraffe neck.

By the way

I hate the way it ended. I was waiting the whole movie to see the fight with Rhino and was pretty pissed that just as it started the screen goes black and says "Directed by Marc Webb". It's like "[frick] YOU DUDE!"!
SteamBlust - 4/30/2014, 1:04 PM
Troll harder Josh. You look pathetic either way.
JoshWilding - 4/30/2014, 1:05 PM
Actually Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ratings are still pretty much the same. Somewhere between "Meh" and "Ok", hence why that no longer became an interesting topic to write about. :)
Doopie - 4/30/2014, 1:05 PM
this is pretty funny though. just take it as it is people. no need for anger, just laugh
FaptainMerica - 4/30/2014, 1:05 PM
ASM2 was better than CA Winter Soldier though. So, of course it doesn't get the pass. It has too much working against it, from Raimi purists to Marvel Studio fan boy clowns wanting it to fail. In all honesty, it's the best characterization of Spider-Man, Garfield is the best actor to play a superhero in a Marvel movie next to RDJ. His on screen chemistry with Stone is electric. The humor hits, the web slinging through the city takes a steaming dump on Raimi's cartoony, cheese fest vision.
Gusto - 4/30/2014, 1:05 PM

You just earned yourself a Mileybration!!

TheBeard - 4/30/2014, 1:05 PM
movie sucked, glad i didn't pay to see it
cipher - 4/30/2014, 1:06 PM
Wilding- Hahaha, cheeky.

GiantNerd - 4/30/2014, 1:06 PM
Lol....too bad. At least the swinging scenes will look bad ass..
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:06 PM
Don't listen to them. They don't know what they're smoking.
kevberg - 4/30/2014, 1:07 PM
Uh Fett--that is not how it ended is it? please tell me you're kidding.
JoshWilding - 4/30/2014, 1:07 PM
Eh, I still got your click SteamBlust. :)

You'd think with 5 Spider-Man movies, they'd have figured it out by now. Or given us a Peter that wasn't either a loser wuss or a douchebag hipster dickhead.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:08 PM
TASM 2 is actually WORSE than MOS. It is just terrible.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:09 PM
I mean, if you aren't a Spidey fan and you were hoping TASM 2 would change your opinion, I've got news for you...
Dotanuki - 4/30/2014, 1:09 PM
Thanks Sony!
charlie2094 - 4/30/2014, 1:09 PM
Lol, that's a lot of the stuff I was worried about :P

Loved TASM and have been looking forward to this, shame there's so much negativity around it. We'll see
McNyagano - 4/30/2014, 1:09 PM

I agree that it's the best characterization of Spidey and it's a good movie but it's nowhere near Cap 2 level. That is heresy! Also GTFO with that Raimi/Marvel Studios fanboys nonsense.
ComicsBornAndBred - 4/30/2014, 1:10 PM
Stop looking for the negative and just enjoy the ride. It looks like a fun, adventurous, colorful film. Spidey is unicameral, kids will love it and regualr movie goers will too. The studio, Webb and them could give two shits about what fanboys think. Everyone who's bashing it will still see it thus putting money in all the actors, crew and studios pockets
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:10 PM
I'm far from a 'Marvel Studios fanboys' (whatever the hell that is). I just think this film sucked.
kevberg - 4/30/2014, 1:10 PM
Better than CAP 2: Winter Soldier?

ComicsBornAndBred - 4/30/2014, 1:11 PM
Raimi version was a little cheesy too. Maguire cried on every damn film over MJ who treated him like shit.
MrCamw1 - 4/30/2014, 1:11 PM
I actually agree with the comic strip, though I can see some people who haven't seen the movie yet could be upset by it. It's not a bad movie, but it is not one that I would watch again. It probably will dominate the box office though.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:11 PM
There is definitely a tie, but I personally think TASM 2 takes the cake.
ComicsBornAndBred - 4/30/2014, 1:12 PM
The characterization of Spidey seems right I'll give the film that. Best portrayal of Spidey. This franchise gets spidey right which is the most important factor
Stick - 4/30/2014, 1:12 PM
I can't say he's wrong either.

Pasto - 4/30/2014, 1:14 PM
TASM 2 is so terrible, it has me and Ramon actually agreeing on something. That should tell you just how bad it is.
TheAstoundingMan - 4/30/2014, 1:15 PM
It's hard to understand a character when they literally scream all of their lines. I thought that people were just exaggerating. I was wrong.

I've lost faith in this franchise now. Maybe it can be redeemed by expanding the universe, but at the cost of losing focus on their protagonist, I somehow doubt it.
Fun1gUy - 4/30/2014, 1:17 PM
Gusto - 4/30/2014, 1:17 PM

Stubner - 4/30/2014, 1:17 PM
This thing is pretty accurate, but the movie really isn't bad. I hated Rhino and Electro but Electro's visuals were amazing. It's SPIDER-MAN, not Breaking Bad. Peter/Gwen and Peter/Harry relationships are more than enough to keep any rational thinking viewer enthralled. Plus with a beyond solid villain in Harry, all and all, this isn't nearly as poor as our friend Josh Wilding so desperately wants it to be.

Don't let stuff like this influence your opinion going in. A lot of the reviews I've read have the ending all wrong and feature scenes that don't exist being critiqued. So, who cares what assholes like this think anyways? It's just yellow journalism and not meant to be taken seriously at all.
MrBatmor - 4/30/2014, 1:18 PM
Yep I agree with that comic strip...
