jesus christ i hate Dan Slott. tries way too hard and his dialog is [frick]ing awful

spider-man: random quip
villain: questions quip
Spider-man: yeah, quip!
villain: generic villain shout!
Spider-man: generic hero response to villain shout, then reference previous quip

garbage

Just saw ASM2 aaaand the mid-credits scene was from XMDOFP. ..?! uuuuh... Where's my "severed head of Norman Osborn"??
And why did SONY promote a FOX movie during it's film's credits? ????
WombRaider - 5/1/2014, 9:54 PM
@sketch mark webb was supposed to direct something for fox, so to get out of the contract so he could direct ASM2 he promised to promote Xmen

JRJR killed it on that cover!!! The colors help too,except on spideys head.

@Nomis it's the coloring under the jaw that is lit up and makes the line work look wonkey.makes it look like his head is huge, I see what you mean. Theu

Ock with the pelvic thrust!! Dirty, old [frick]er!! He's like Gusto with four extra appendages.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/1/2014, 10:59 PM
This looks great. Like that Marvel are adding to the heroes origin like spidey and X-Force. Give us a chance to relish in the original look of these characters. No complaints from me.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/1/2014, 11:08 PM
Now I just got back from TASM2. All I have to say is it was really good and @josh you were dead wrong with your review. I will go into details in a movie thread but it was waaaaaayyyy betttterrr than cheesy spiderman 2 by raimi by far. It was slightly above The Amazing Spiderman if I will be fair in rating. The story was deep enough but was a bridge to something greater. The relationships were amazing. More later from me. Overall @josh was wrong and if part 1 was a 3.5/5* for me than part 2 was a 4/5. Very enjoyable but TWS was a classic compared to spidey 2. Still felt like a spidey movie. ;)
loki668 - 5/1/2014, 11:45 PM
@Remy

Are you calling it the best cbm of 2014?
charlie2094 - 5/2/2014, 12:42 AM
First cover is great!

Loved Superior, brilliant read, but was nice to see Peter back in the tights for sure, not to mention Ock has set up lots of interesting story possibilities.

TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/2/2014, 12:45 AM
Lol @loki hell no TASM2 wasn't the best of 2014. The Winter Soldier won't be beat this year as Spidey had the best shot and it didn't reach the plateau of Greatest of All time. Now is it the best spidey film to me? Yes it was. Deeply emotional film and a funny spidey finally.
loki668 - 5/2/2014, 4:30 AM
Ah........I grew up on Spidey and THAT'S what I wanted to hear!! I was just curious as to how you would compare it with Cap 2.
HorrorPilot - 5/2/2014, 5:04 AM
What's up with the shitty art on the Spidey books all of the sudden?
drellik - 5/2/2014, 5:58 AM
@Horror, it's called JRJR.....bleh.
drellik - 5/2/2014, 5:59 AM
why does JRJR give Spidey massive fapping forearms?
RajunRemyLebeau - 5/2/2014, 9:04 AM
@drellik for fapping, of course
Lostcause - 5/2/2014, 9:08 AM
The sonic power guy is Clayton Cole, my guess is AKA Clash. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 2014. He was the first person to get an autograph from Spidy.
JustThwipIt - 5/2/2014, 10:20 AM
@Lostcause
I think that's pretty obvious man... He has the mask in the last frame.
dethpillow - 5/2/2014, 3:35 PM
.1 issues are copouts.
case - 5/2/2014, 11:46 PM

Dethpillow - agreed.
